I really enjoyed watching this. Great job. :) If I recall, the original arcade DD1 didn't have leveling up. Thus I actually prefered the NES version, as I felt it added depth. Never actually played the other 2 DD games on the NES. Nice to finally see them. Thanks for the vid, dude.

I had to laugh about Chin being just looped from the building :-P That's a real blast-off with the knee-attack in DD2 :-) Just a waste of Ranzou in the last level, but ok :-) Respect for managing this in only 1 hour! By the way: I spoke to that Abobo you left in DD1. He's, like, almost starved to death now.

Double Dragon 2 was one of my favorite NES games. Unfortunately I never made it through Double Dragon 3. I fail to understand how they thought Super Mario Brothers 2 would be too hard for American players, and then thought that Double Dragon 3 was appropriate.

I scoffed when you pulled the cheap platform death on Hulk Abobo at around 9:40. Though, I gotta admit, trying to kill him the normal way is HARD. Why can't they give you another dimension to dodge in? I laughed when Billy got BRICK'D to death shortly after, though. Poor neglected Kool-Aid Abobo. To this day, I don't think I've ever beaten Double Dragon 1. Always because of the BS moments in Stage 3...

The beginning of stage 4 in DD1 is so cheap. I used to (still do) hate that part. Also, LOL at Billy looking like he's got one arm when he walks in DD2. DD2 on the NES was awesome.

It is possible to fall with no health and not die, it's rare but it does happen. I was playing last night and it happened to me. If the final hit is the one that takes the last bit of health, sometimes you can survive the fall.

The NES DD2 is much better than the arcade - that was just a lazy copy of the original with different enemies. Heck, they even used the same level layouts, just with different graphics. =P

Double Dragon 3 seems difficult because Double Dragon 2 was a cakewalk once you got the moves down. I can guarantee you Double Dragon 3 was not THAT hard, you just need to keep in mind that punches suck in ALL double dragon games >___>
