Please, what did you apply to the hair before using the black rubberband to hold the hair?

I used eco styler gel, cause my papaya gel got exhausted. You can use a very good gel. I also oiled my rubber bands with coconut oil, so my hair stays moisturized

Thank you Justina.... Yes. I started with 2 strands of wool, another 2 strand, then 3 strands twice, then 4 strand twice as well.
