Why is the camerawork still so appalling??

It's not so much the camera operators' fault as the director's: the director has to make split-second decisions on which camera to go to for a particular shot, and if a 'big number' gets missed by the player, then the director has either to be hot at the maths, or opt for a 'whole board' camera shot. Also, there is the 'spotter', usually a mathematically able former player, eg. Keith Deller, who is there behind the scenes to work things out, lightning-quick, for the commentators, if need be. Mistakes, however, are inevitable, particularly with fast players like Humphries, Smith, Littler, etc.

Theres 5 players going for 4 spots in reality. 6 points seperating all 5. I think 28 points might be the safety zone. 2 lukes need 1 more win each to hit 28 points.smith needs a nightly win to force his way into it and make it a crazy final few nights. Because of Cross,Wright and Price not scoring much all the points are being clained by the top 5 so defo 24 points will not be enough this year. Its all down to Smith to make a late charge and get the 4 boys above his papping it. Every time smith plays littler his game is on point then his level drops off.littler was pants tonight.
