Halo sir... the way you play the drumset ia very groovy. The ghost note.. could you please tell how to play the ghost note?

I play ghost notes 2 different ways depending on whether or not I am staying low for another one or immediately going to a loud stroke. If I am staying quiet then the stick is basically dropped from a low position and caught similar to dribbling a ball close to the ground, if though I want to get height to hit a loud note straight after then I use what is known as an 'upclip' this is achieved by very quickly tugging the stick upward with the acorn dropped this then skims the head on the way up to the height I need for a loud stroke, so I am making my upstroke as normal but gaining a ghost on the way up.
