What a great idea. I agree about the 2nd re-do. I didn’t like that stitch down the side and it made it also a little tighter. I would like to see a pocket or something or even a 3rd fold or possibly a fold up pocket from the bottom to hold a lens cleaner!! Thanks.
@stacyrobbins Жыл бұрын
Thank you! The pocket idea is a good one! This simple design would be easy to alter and add more folds for more pockets. So many possibilities! 🧵

@@stacyrobbins that’s what I was thinking. Make another half fold in front by just extending an angled piece on your pattern. I’m going to try it! :)

Such a GREAT IDEA!!! I attempted to find the pattern or measurements to make up a couple of these... when I went to your page , I did find the "tab"... but was unable to go to it. Message said "not found" I'm going to try and wing it as well. Thanks so much for such a GREAT pattern.

Its really cute, do you have a single glass case without binding
@stacyrobbins10 ай бұрын
Thanks so much! I don't have a single case pattern currently. If you cut away one third of this pattern on the fold line, it would become a single case!

Children can be so honest, and that usually is harsh. I might think about making it where it closes over the glasses so that the glasses don't fall out. I like the red and black.
@stacyrobbins Жыл бұрын
So true about kids. 💕 Thank you! It would be easy to make a flap to close the case.

Very cute and great for travel. You shouldvtry those sewing clips or dollar store binder clips instead of pins. They hold better than pins.

Could you please pass on the actual measurements? I love this case and really want to give it a try

It may be tomorrow before I can get it measured. I would like to measure the flat pattern. I hope to have the printer set up tomorrow and I will uncover where I packed all the tape measures and rulers. :) I am curious if you tired to print the pattern. I am wondering if there are issues with the link. If you did would you please let me know?
@stacyrobbins3 жыл бұрын
My hubby got the printer running so we are in business! The flat bottom is 10.5 inches. The fold lines are 3.5" from each outer edge. The longest point is 6" along the middle (measuring up from the flat bottom edge). The sloping outer edge measures 4.5". I hope that is clear.
