Fantastic stuff. I'm surprised Network Rail let small engines like these out on the mainline. But, glad they do

This is the first time that I have seen panniers on main line excusions, but how impressive they turn out to be! I suppose that there are one or two limitations on their useage on long hauls eg: prolonged high speed unlikely (75mph); limited coal & water capacity. Otherwise great to enjoy this wonderful capture on this video. Old Hill Bank was made for night time video! Many thanks most enjoyable.

Brilliant performance by the panniers and great locations for the clips. The night shots were very atmospheric apart from the flashing tail lamp - oh for the glimmer of an oil lamp! Thanks for a great year of videos.

Well done. Your composition of each shot was spot on. Excellent work. Thank you.

A 94XX in full flight sounds like a Super D. Also I nver fully realised how much bigger the 9400 is than a 5700. Smashing video, sound and locations, as usual.

Excellent footage mate. Thanks for sharing with us. Never knew they had Panniers with mainline tickets. Use to seeing GWR/BR tender engines on the mainline, never tank engines. Quite interesting to see your video when it came up in my feed. Nicely filmed as always. Can’t wait to see them myself when I come to UK in a few years time.

OMG indeed! What speed can these do? We have tank 0-6-0 here in Europe but they barely do 30mph.

Great compilation really enjoyed it Love to see hard working tanks engines sounds and sights excellent. I notice how majority of spectators stood well behind the yellow lines on platforms a rare thing these days. Try Chesterfield nightmare. Cheers

Great video thanks, Liam & Phil. A superb panning shot at Wilmcote station and a spectacular capture at Hagley (did the female comment at the end suggest a lens cap had been left on?). Tremendous atmosphere with the night-time shots. Your footage of The Rambler gives a special opportunity to enjoy seeing two panniers working really well together, in contrast with the more common sight of a pannier and a prairie. Kind regards, Bob.

How does the driver in the loc at the back know when to brake or accelerate?
@MarshSteamVideosTM7 жыл бұрын
Front loco controls the brakes. Rear loco provides power when needed.
