NOTE: You don't need to put your DI off of the list to do sugarshrek's method! It's an unnecessary step most of the time. In some cases, you can just click on the second item slot and then click on another Yo-kai and that's it.

I found an infinite money glitch using the 255 item glitch, it requires an item you can sell 255 of but not get $9999. It also lets you permanently get 99 of any equippable-but-not-soul-gem item that meets this prerequisite when you're done. Basically, you gotta do the 255 item glitch and sell all 255 of the non-equipped duplicates of the item. The item will disappear from the sell screen and you'll get your money. Unequip all of that specific item from your yo-kai and you'll notice that you still have what you started with +1 of the equip you used. You can repeat this infinitely for more money and still keep your equipment. If you want 99 of an item that met the prerequisite for the money glitch, you'll have to do some math. Do the 255 item glitch like shown in the video and go to sell the item like with the infinite money glitch (This is where the difference comes in) you then have to sell the exact amount of the item that would land the combined total of equipped and unequipped items at exactly 99 (158 sold is the minimum or close to it). Go to unequip your items and you should land smack-dab on 99 owned. This persists after saving and quitting, unlike the regular 255 item glitch. *I can't test every version of the game to see if it works on all of them, so for reference I'm using latest patch North American Psychic Specters.* I don't exactly know the speedrun route or if this will help them, but this will certainly allow for more convenient casual playthroughs. Immediate edit: Sorry if this comment got super wordy, I don't have an account to post this anywhere else and I have no way to record to make a video on these glitches. Here's another thing I found that'll make it so you'll only need one of any soul gem you need while still getting to use practically infinite of it. You just have to do the 255 item glitch but on a soul gem, and while the number still shows as negative on the equipping screen, you're able to put as many on all of your yo-kai as you want. This presumably has the same restrictions on saving and loading as the regular 255 item glitch, but you can use it to save time on some interesting-but-time-consuming-to-set-up-team comps.

The infinite money thing isn't a glitch lol that's just abusing the 255 glitch which is already a pretty obvious thing you can do with it. Also the souls thing you added in the edit is already known as ISE (Infinite Souls Exploit)

@@Woganog Ah, I really thought I found something groundbreaking, thanks for replying again btw. I thought it was new info because I tried getting 99 cursed shields with that extension of the 255 item glitch and since I couldn't sell enough of them, literally all of them disappeared, including the equipped ones, presumably because the game was deleting them because of an invalid item count. I just assumed that since the set up for actually getting 99 of any equipment was pretty weird and that nobody had found it.

@@Woganog Yeah, that's how it works, but for some reason if you sell enough items to the point where your combined total of owned and equipped is below 100, you get to keep all of them. That's probably why selling 255 of an inexpensive equip lets you keep what you had at the start +1. (Btw random side note, I think the priciest item you can get away with selling 255 of is the Bony/Fleshy Bands)

In my old ykw2 saved i somehow got 80+ attack to my cadin and it was holding two items never know how it happened but thank you fellow yo kai watch youtuber ( also btw this works with souls too )

People are already unfortunately using it in PvP, but it has a lot of useful non-malicious uses in speedrunning and casual play, which is why I made this

@@Woganog I'm glad for those groups. If anything sounds like something fun for Yo-Kai Watch 2 speedrunning specifically. Makes sense why you did it in Yo-Kai Watch 2. Also unfortunately means that the Herculean task of even trying to get S rank for a trophy in Yo-Kai Watch 3 in this era is basically impossible, but oh well. Also I'm curious how people will check for this in competitive Yo-Kai Watch events online

Heyo, I know it's a bit late, but I ran into a problem and need help. I did the DIE (doku method) in my ykw3 save file. Problem: After saving and reloading the second (glitched) item on my yokai is gone. The bigger problem: In my inventory menu the game still says that the item is equipped to a yokai. But I can't get it back by doing DIE again. Is there something I can do or did I break my save file?

So you're saying it's equipped to the first slot somehow? Just unequip it normally by clicking on the Yo-kai

Thanks for the quick reply, no, the item is no longer in any slot. It's like the game noticed it and automatically unequipped it after reloading. Problem is, my game shows me in the equipment menu that the item is still in use. But none of my yokai wear it anymore.
