Well, I think Grian aware of it and is trying to be responsible started off as "I feel sorry for my partner" before he learned his partner was Scar. Grian is also a schemer, the death that ended his series had him overwhelmed and alone. So this time, he's going to get some allies who will stick by him. Build a positive relationship, especially if they may go red in the future. Cause has anyone noticed that BigBs no kill promise applies to Scar? Or that by supplying things BigB would need keeps Ren happy too? That's a major benefit to both Grian and Scar that the first red pair, one of whom has a high amount of kills in the Life series, is favourable to them.

Scar deserves a better soulmate. Don’t get me wrong, G is keeping him alive but he’s really not being a good soulmate to Scar, he underestimates his ability to survive. Scar’s shown he knows how to live in a hardcore setting. And he’s shown that he can defend himself and carry out sneaky deals that leave him better off (the Jellie-pandas’ “donation box” this season and the armor haggling in 3rd life for instance, on and all the stuff in Last Life with the crystals) He didn’t feel that G was being a good soulmate anyway (Because of Bdubs’ “seeds of doubt”) but everything with Big B really solidified his distrust in Grian. Scar never deserved any of this, he’s a perfectly capable individual on this chaotic server, not enough people give him credit for that.

@@zibasPk I know G just wanted to mix it up, I’ve watched his videos as well as Scar’s. But Grian didn’t have to stay with Scar from the beginning, he had the ability to do what Scott and Cleo did to Pearl and Martyn. Instead he treated it like a chore keeping Scar alive where the man was capable of living on his own. These things have a lot more layers than just content (which is still a big part of it though). It’s okay for us in the community to have imaginations, as long as it doesn’t hurt the original creator.

cries and sobs and rolls on the floor and throws a fit also, I was theorizing with a friend and came up with this ; in double life, you know how they can feel eachothers pain? so one time, what if grian is out doing something. told scar he would be back, and a hour or so passes and then all of a sudden grian gets this sinking feeling, his cheeks get hot, and he's like 'woah what's happening does scar have a wither effect or something?' and then he feels phantom arms around himself as he feels his body ripple with goosebumps/something else maybe ? but the sinking feeling makes him realize scar is crying. worst part about it? when he gets back and asks him if he's okay, scar for sure brushes it off because scar knows he's more of a nuisance to grian, a babysitter, a burden. then anything else.

I usually watch Pearl's POV for most of the Sessions. NGL I'm pretty sure she's sort of frenemies with him, or soulmaties ig. Still wants to just torture him tho, and not fully KILL him. it's the series call "double life" in the past it's been called "Last Life" and it's lead by Grian and the other people that play on the server are known as the Hermits from "Hermitcraft" You should definitely start watching!

Double Life is a Minecraft SMP series with 14 members, all of whom upload new episodes on Friday. It is recorded in set sessions where all members are present - that way the shenanigans are ramped up to 100! Since I don’t think I’d do a good job fully explaining the basic premise, I’ll transcribe Grian’s provided explanation below. -------- “Welcome to Double Life: a brand new 1.19 Minecraft series where the number of lives you have is indicated by your color name. Green for three, two for yellow, and if you’re on your last life - you turn red. Just like the other series, when you’re red, you become hostile to the other members. Alright: Quick explanation. Basically, double life, everyone has a soulmate and they can feel whenever the other person takes damage. Grian (the one with the wonky ears) is Scars soulmate (connected by a read thread showing that they are soulmates). Grian and BigB (the cookie guy) are "secret soulmates" and Scar found out about this. Basically fandom decided that Scar feels like a burden, like he's too much trouble for Grian, likes he's not enough (hence the song, "he needed more than me"). But yeah, it's a lot of videos to watch to understand.
