I’ve not played on Hard so I don’t know how well this advice for the Deep Dark might work for you guys (I play Normal mode), but the best way to get around unnoticed is to continually sneak; no walking around. And when the Warden does arrive, the best thing to do is stay very still while sneaking (having subtitles on is Very Helpful). Bringing eggs or snowballs with you is ideal. If the Warden spawns, throw one away from you, towards distant Sensors. The Warden will go investigate briefly, giving you time to sneak away (running will get its attention). This distraction doesn’t last long, but if you calculate your throws well, it works great. I haven’t tried redstone machines myself, but they don’t seem to be the most effective distraction. I advise eggs, as they might spawn chickens, which act as a longer distraction then just snowballs, but their throw is louder and from my experimentation, the Warden might clue into that (it only happened twice to me, so that might be a glitch). You can use silk touch to pick up the Shriekers, Sensors, and Catalysts. I personally go for the Shriekers first to destroy them when I can, and walking on the Sensors can activate it. I don’t know if by moving Shriekers and Sensors to the surface, you could spawn in a Warden, but that might be a cool way to freak people out? Just my two cents. Good job! Keep up the good work!

I think a very cheeky trap to set would be to simply replace some cave floors with stone top slabs, especially cave floors. That will prevent people from being able to MLG on that floor and could lead to surprise damage

If the Warden spots you and you find yourself needing a quick getaway, we recommend sprinting towards the nearest light source. The Warden will burrow underground to hide in well-lit rooms or in sunlight You’ll know when the Warden is close, as nearby candles and other light sources will start to flash. If the Warden is nearby, you can distract it by throwing something to make noise. For example, if you fire an arrow or throw a snowball, the Warden will investigate the sound and give you a chance to sneak away.
