We used to make this with a cotton reel and four nails and a crotchet for lifting over the nail, as children. We never found a use for the cords that we made. This is interesting, thank you for sharing

Like e-wrap in loom knitting. This is like a mini version of that. Cool!

Thank you much for this! I have been searching and searching, and *knew* there had to be a way to control tension on double lucet for a better cord. The need to buy so many different size double lucets also seemed unnecessary. So, thank you, again.

Nice tip. I was having the same issues, thank you for this. I also have two lucets from Diane so I recognized yours. I still have a lot of practice ahead of me.

Love it, thanks for sharing. I just looked up lucet fork, I've seen them in stores but never knew what they did. I've never seen a 4 prong though. Glad I did because I need 1 now. LOL Where do you get the 4 prong ones? The square rope would make a good cord for a rug, making the rug lay flat, at least that's what I would guess it would do. What do you do with your cords?

Hi! I got mine from Diane, she has a store on Etsy called Sistermaide, she has them in all different sizes and she is so super nice! I hang planters on mine, at least that was the plan. I make pottery so…. Sorry it took me so long to respond - I didn’t get a notification for it 🤷♀️
