I was wondering how wide it came out. I'm glad I looked through the comments and found yours. I'll do 16 rows, as I don't want it to be too wide. Did you use the 36 or 41 peg loom? I'm thinking 36. My head is smaller than a friend of mine, who I adapted a different headband for size.

Hello, I love your videos. you are fantastic. I am a bit confused though I started making this and mine is so much bigger than yours. when you count rounds, I use a stitch counter so each time I do a round I click it? As of right now my stitch counter is at 20, so i will take it off the loom. It looks so much wider that yours. I don't know why. I am still new at this and i thank goodness that there are videos. i would be lost without them. thank you so much

My question is how do I handle the extra 3 pegs on a 31 peg loom. I'm an adult woman with a very small head. I've started three headbands, and down to a 31 peg loom. I was up to 14th row, but my pattern is way off. Like a 41, it's not a perfect 4 peg. It has 3 left over. I'm not sure how to handle this. I love the way you had me mark it! And I took the 31 peg one off the loom, and it fits! Just now the seed pattern.
@hellomsyarn3 жыл бұрын
For rows 1 and 2, do K K P on the last three pegs. For rows 3 and 4, do P P K. I haven't tested this, but it should work just fine.

Great video instructions! I'm used to working counterclockwise just because I'm right handed and it's easier to hold the loom in my left hand while knitting so I had to train my brain while watching your video. One question, since this is a great project for leftover yarn, have you measured how many yards you used while making this on both the 41& 36 peg looms? It would be really helpful for future projects to make sure we have enough "leftover yarn" for this project. Thanks! Glad I found you on KZbin!
@hellomsyarn3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I didn't measure the yardage, and I don't have a digital scale to weigh the items and then approximate the length needed. Maybe do fewer than the recommended 20 rounds if you see you don't have enough length for the stretchy bind off?
@LaMandeville3 жыл бұрын
@@hellomsyarn FYI, now that I've made a couple of these, here is what I've learned. The 41 peg size using 20 rows of the #6 Thick & Quick Yarn was too big for my female head (and even very loose on my husband's head). I used a 36 Peg loom and did 16 Rows and it was perfect! And that size uses about 31 yards of yarn. Hope this helps!
