Plz don't misguide canvas panels are good for beginners... Even canvas without primed is good for a beginner... Even a 300 gsm paper primed with acrylic 2 to 3 times is good for beginners... Beginners should focus on practice and developing skills and not on the higest quality stuff like mam suggested...

As a beginner I buy canvas from local shop which quality was quite good it was my first acrylic painting and it's out come was amazing same as original but after that I buy canvas roll for practice that was very cheap price and low quality (I didn't had knowledge about canvas quality). When I start using that it was worst colors spills over there I can only use thick color, it was that worst. if I didn't use first good canvas then its make me think that I m worst on painting and make my confidence down. Edit : Every people have different capabilities some of beginner are happy by just lipa poti but some can be able to create good detailing.

Stretched canvas is stretched on a wooden frame and canvas board is sticked on a simple cardboard... No this will never affect your art work, its only that streched one doesnt need a frame to hang... And board does need a frame because its just a cardboard..
