i understand what u mean by the build up on Like I Aint, the album version feels more smooth. tech has many songs where he makes his verses shine more than the chorus, Its kind of reverse. If you havent already, check out "This Ring"

For Like I Ain't, he's just talking his shit. New people always underestimate him and forget he's been around this industry for decades and is well respected by EVERYONE in the industry, so this song is generally just repping his plethora of accolades and collaborations to remind mfs who he be. Eminem, Joyner, Hopsin, Tupac, Wayne, Kendrick, Twista, Corey Taylor, and MANY more legends that he didn't name cause a rap song just aint got the time.

CMFT is Corey Mother Fucking Taylor, so yes, it is about him. I think it's intentionally cheesy and just meant to be funny. You asked why this is just Corey Taylor and not Slipknot. Slipknot is not his only music. Besides Slipknot, he had a band called Stone Sour, and he also has a couple of solo albums. Stone Sour is a good rock band. The solo stuff is definitely his weakest. I saw someone suggest Tech N9ne - Wither (featuring Corey). That's a good one. I'll add that Kid Bookie also has a good track featuring Corey called Stuck In My Ways, which is also worth checking out.
