When do you need to have an breackover on a sliding plate?

you shouldnt ever need breakover since these are strictly hind shoes.

Layna Grue all double s plate come with a small rocker toe But why do you need to have a rocker toe

it makes the movement more comfortable for some horses and it all depends on the shoer's preference, there's really no need to have a rock in the toe.

Layna Grue thank you so much for your reply! So if I’m understanding well the horse will slide easier? Doesn’t the horse shoe comes earlier out of the sand with an rocket toe?

The rocker toe is to help prevent their toe from digging in the ground.
