For the first stop on the G & D strings when descending, I believe your ring finger is on the E at the 9th fret of the G string. Which note is your pointer finger on at that time (G or G#)? I just can’t figure out the exact fingering for the, highest up the neck, stop on the G&D strings (lowest note). Thanks

It’s on the fifth fret (which I think about as a 35 double stop in C, FWIW) hope that helps!!

It can be tempting for some folks to write stuff down, but can be so crucial not to and instead spend the extra time to get it by ear. But can be tough if you don’t have a good coach to help open up the ear and process that way. I’d encourage you to go very slowly and memorize a couple at a time. 😀
