I was at the game, not sure if any of the clips show it, but CC hit a 3, was running back and VV gave her a forearm to the chest. That's why CC got in her face. It happened about 1-2 seconds before the point where this clip shows Clark with her arms out with the "wtf?" look on her face.

@@TO-xm1vh No that's BS man. Cheap shots are not a part of the game and they don't need to be certainly not in kindergarten. Play hard and physical yes cheap shots no. The NBA got rid of most of that s*** in the early 90s and the league flourished the double you needs to do the same thing.

@@Hprelude24 Yes it is, but it's also called selective journalism, they put the clip up they wanted you to see and only stated both got technicals instead of putting the entire clip up so that people can see what happened. They did it because they didn't want Vivian's to look bad, probably a black person who is racist. They wanted to make it appear as an equal incident, honestly them giving Clark a technical for just chirping after someone just put hands on them flagrantly is just absurd. Biased refs who mostly hate Clark, that's why they have been calling touch fouls in her the entire season getting her into early foul trouble in Alot of games. The WNBA, it's players, it's coaches and it's older fans are going to run Clark out here in a few years anyway, and then it will be right back to losing money, selling no tickets, and then the players will be back to complaining 24/7 again.

Caitlin needs to expect this. These vets are coming after her and when they do, she needs to do what she did here. Get right back in their faces. Don't let them intimidate her just because she's a rookie and came in with a lot of fanfare. A lot of it is fueled by jealousy. She did what she needed to do here. In the process she's going to earn the respect that she wants.

Get back in their faces and what?! Get another technical foul? That’s hardly the way you want to start your career. She is still whining about not getting the calls she wants. It got old in college when her dad told her to just play. All of the rookies are getting it and it doesn’t take all that. Brink didn’t do it tonight and Reese didn’t do it in her game against the Sun. SIDE NOTE : if you’re really a fan of WNBA players find some videos about how they were welcomed to the league. She’s not the first and she won’t be the last. 😂😊

They are hardly jealous. They simply told her that it wouldn’t be a walk in the park. And it hasn’t she’s struggled until now. She is starting to get her footing as is the rest of the rookie class. The main ones that have said anything have done something that she’s yet to even be invited to or have her name mentioned in the conversation. That’s, to become part of the Olympic Team. Only three first round picks of the WNBA have made it to the Olympics. Taurasi, Stewie, and Parker. These women have been more established and have no reason to be jealous.

A fan video on Athlon Sports shows what happened off screen that ESPN missed. That fan video shows that after Clark hit the three, and turned to her left to go down the court, Vivians was standing there with her elbow out and then raised her right hand and hit Clark in the face, and Clark's head rocks backward. THAT is why Clark pursued Vivians and holding her hands out to her sides appears to demand "What was that for???" In this video, too, at 0:20, Vivian's right elbow goes forward to deliberately hit Boston. Vivians reveals who she really is, a bad sportswoman. I can't help but wonder if, while White athletes eagerly accept and respect Black athletes, this Black athlete hates Caitlin Clark because Clark is white. Vivians also might want to clue into the fact that almost no one cared about the WNBA until Clark came along, and Clark is having a huge impact on increasing box office revenue and Vivians' future earnings potential. Vivians owes Clark, her team, and the WNBA, an apology.

I never watched a WNBA game before Caitlin Clark started playing... Now I've seen enough to know why. I am so done with these haters and racist b's, between them and the coaches who hate and are too stupid to see that Clark was going to bring them into relevance as well as making them real money... I've seen enough. Then you add the refs who seem to have their own agenda? It's no wonder WNBA is a failing league subsidized by the NBA for years... The Adrienne Ross Show channel shows a clip from an alternate camera not broadcast here that shows a quick right jab from Victoria Vivians to Clark's upper chest / lower neck area after Clark turns to face down court and Victoria Vivians after Clark made the shot. This jab seems to be what triggered Clark to walk back up into Victoria Vivians' face. (The little jab was so quick and short that I didn't catch it until I slowed it down to .25 speed at the moment Clark's head jerks back.) Victoria Vivians' grin certainly did not look like she was clueless why Clark wanted to get in her grill.
