The “flak” shell was act called a beehive shell by the allies an San shiki by the Japanese. Japanese used them basically Everytime they were able to when under attack , most of the time allied planes would be spotted to close sometimes to really be effective

Great video. Had a game yesterday where literally EVERYBODY ran away from their spawn, and then despite my anti fire build, EVERYTHING set me on fire. It was the worst luck and game I've had in awhile

Hello Spartan, Very very, Very nice games! Very hard to survive in Yamato when either a carrier or high dpm he spammer focuses up on you. You managed them both and dragged your team to a victory. My Yama games are 50/50 . Pulled Musashi out of the crate recently and absolutely love her , a Yamato in a lower tier , more rewards and less potatoes there. Keep it up pal!

I don't think anti-fire builds actually work in this game. I run my Soviet BBs in full anti-fire build and still get set on fire by every fifth shell when I'm lucky.

4070 Ti - nice card! When I was putting my system together a couple years ago, the 40x0 cards were newish, and a bit crazy on price - $1500 - $2000 - so I went with a 3080 Ti.

The actual Yamato had a hell of a lot of AA guns. The problem was most of it wasn't very effective at shooting down planes. I'm told when Yamato's magazine went the blast took down more planes than her AA did during her last stand.

I dont believe Yamato suffered a magazine detonation i believe she simply sank from too many torp holes in the hull

@SpartanElite43 You might wanna read up on Yamato's last mission then. Her main magazine detonation as she was sinking was said to be one of the largest non nuclear man-made explosions at that point in history. The yamato wreck is in two main pieces with much of the forward midsection annihilated.

I changed my build to Takeo + Andrew + Angelo, my Yamato became deadly again, I managed to get first place a few times and win matches, even with Mutsu and Fuso. This completely changed my gameplay, later if you can, test this grouping build.

I don’t know how I feel about yamato. I use to love playing it but I can never get any accurate salvos anymore even with an accuracy build. A very fun ship when it wants to cooperate though.

I really don't care for carriers half the time as a battleship player. Made one game I had last night VERY satisfying when I ran down an Ark Royal in my North Carolina. Guess he thought he could kill me before I killed him. He was wrong.

I avoid Gyrating Drillbits in this game like the Cleveland Browns avoid victories and Super Bowls. I cannot tolerate operating a battleship that I purposely made slower. Propulsion mod is another thing I always use in a battleship or battlecruiser...I want to get going faster. On the latter which is better? Neither, because either option can get you out of trouble in different circumstances. Spartan seems to prefer handling which is ironic because that's what I prefer in Forza (Horizon 4/5) Motorsports....I generally will choose handling over top speed in those games, and yet in a large capital ship I prefer horsepower and speed, speed and more speed. This is what happens when ya get to meet both Mario and Michael Andretti in your lifetime... They're both very nice people.

Legendary tier ships are expensive to operate so youve got to learn to position yourself well and where to aim to get consistent damage. However once you do it is a beast of a ship
