Adventurer Victor Vescovo successfully dove down to the Mariana Trench in 2019 with two Omega Ultra Deep watches strapped to his submersible. Despite diving 10,935 meters below the ocean’s surface, both watches emerged completely intact and in working order.
The dive was a part of the Five Deeps Exhibition, a quest to descend to the deepest parts of each of the five oceans. The legendary Ultra Deep has been reimagined as a regular production model, complete with an impressive 6,000-meter depth rating and a unique case structure.
Ref. 215.92.46.21.01.001 features a striking grey, black, and blue design set pairing a grade 5 titanium case with a brushed ceramic bezel and a ceramised grade 5 titanium dial to match the case and bezel. The bezel is decorated with a Liquidmetal™ diving scale, and the dial displays the time with matching white Super-LumiNova hour markers and hands. Blue Arabic numerals and a white/blue hand add to the striking design of the dial.
This model is paired with a black and blue polyamide NATO strap secured to the case via “Manta” lugs. This model also features the caliber 8912 self-winding mechanical movement, water resistance up to 6,000 meters/20,000 feet, and a domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Omega paid homage to the watch’s origins by also including a unique sonar emblem case back.

Patek Philippe added seven new Aquanaut models to the collection in 2021, including the unique green and steel ref. 5267/200A-011 unboxed in this week’s episode of ‘What’s in the Box.’ With this model, the Luce sub-collection size has grown from 35.6mm to 38.8mm and is accompanied for the first time by an integrated composite strap, a feature that was already a staple on the men’s Aquanaut.
Collectors (including men and women alike) were also delighted to see a striking and contemporary green khaki design to complete the 2021 Aquanaut Luce releases. Now, you can add one of the most fascinating recent editions to the series to your watch box.
Features include a glittering diamond bezel, the famous Patek port hole-inspired octagonal bezel, and an embossed dial to match the texture of the rubber strap. Measuring just 7.9mm thick, ref. 5267/200A-011 will look stunning on just about any wrist.
This model is rated waterproof up to 30 meters and is powered by the Caliber E 23-250 S C quartz movement with a convenient date mechanism.

Absolutely loved this episode! Would love to continue seeing more non-Rolex. I’m sitting here with my Batman GMT on at the moment that being said. I absolutely love Rolex as most people do but there’s so many incredible brands. I’d love to see you guys branch out to more brands in these videos and love the double unveiling!

Thanks so much, Emily, for the "good friend" shout out. You must have ESP as the GS Katana is on my wrist this morning! I appreciate all that goes into the Ultra Deep, but with a 7" wrist, I could never pull it off. I could see it being a door-frame-buster if I were to wear it. The box for the Patek puts all the others to shame. I like the color and how the texture of the bracelet carries over to the dial. The diamonds on the bezel are not to my taste, but with a smooth bezel it would make an understated dress watch. Definitely not a sports watch, but without the diamonds it could be a very good watch for all occasions. By the way, Emily, pretty sweater.

The Z-Blue Milgauss is a widely loved watch! For reference, it was a favorite of Emily's until recently when Justin made his case for enjoying the white dial variant most. Hard to deny any Milgauss watch, they're all pretty great.
