Nice work! Those rings and pocket slings really speed things up. I think you did the right thing by moving that upper ring a little higher, too. Keep it up!

Hey, buddy, the purpose of this is to hold more weight. Is that the double wip technique for

@br-dj2ti Yeah, I should have been more clear in my original comment. The rings and pocket slings are faster than blocks on dead eye slings for the same technique.

I’ve never done that before but it looks like the bowline going through the rig piece ring and tied off helps create a smoother rig? Is that the reason behind using two slings?

Halves the force being applied by splitting it between the 2 rings

This is pretty slick, I like it. Do you know the lengths of the ring slings?

Does that change anything with how many wraps you take on the porta wrap vs when you’re just negative rigging the piece
@KyleE-pm1nt9 ай бұрын
It can... in theory, but in my experience it's not likely to change the friction. It just adds more rope in the system to distribute the shock through
@survivalsearcher8 ай бұрын
@KyleE-pm1nt it adds another friction point, reducing the forces being applied to the ring and the stem, as well

Why all this time and rig you have space to piece by piece without rig
@203_climber8 ай бұрын
Because the client didn’t want us to tear up her lawn.

All that rigging time… just chunk that thing down man it would’ve been done already. Good work though! 🤙

tree was done in 4.5 hrs. My area all the clients are insanely meticulous about their lawn, so rigging everything down is a day in and day out process. Which is annoying at times but I enjoy the process. Upstate CT we get to send everything via airmail but not close to the city 😭 thank you brother man !
