Will shooting on a 9.5 rim mess up your jumper?
@SameerKhan-ku3lf5 жыл бұрын
Mew Two depends on how much you do it
@joeyvast5 жыл бұрын
For sure. Because you'll be calibrated on that low rim and it will not translate to when you go to the 10 ft rim. You'd have to adjust. Shoot on 10ft if you can.
@SameerKhan-ku3lf5 жыл бұрын
Joey Vast Yeah, I was just wondering if you play often on an 9.5 but it doesn’t matter it’ll always kind of mess up it up

All the best shooter have tilt in feet Steph klay dame Kyrie KD all of them except klay in some way have a thumb flick with their guide hand
@R2bball5 жыл бұрын
Sometimes we will allow those things but we should never teach or encourage them. If we teach a player to shoot squared they will naturally tilt a little. If we teach them to tilt they will tilt too much. As for thumbing we definitely don’t ever want to encourage extra movements in a jump shot. Joakim Noah also has a thumb flick. Just because some good shooter do it doesn’t make the mechanic itself good. Less movements = greater consistency

“Perfect form” is not perfect form. A thumb flick can actually allow improved accuracy from deeper ranges such as in Curry or Kyrie. A slight tilt can allow less shoulder tension and a more effortless shot. It depends on the human body and your body. If you can optimize it for yourself in a manner that works, do it. “Perfect form” is not perfect form.
