The end scene of Catherine looking out over the Yorkshire dells reminded me so much of the pre-intermission scene from Gone With The Wind. I drove fror NYCTA for 32 years retired in 2018. Used to love to people watch from the bus in Manhattan.

Yes Woo. It's nice to drive around the city and towns and see all kinds of people, go about their every day business. The job never gets boring, apart from the route itself when you've drove it 1000s of times. 😂. I went to Manhattan in 1988 aged nine. I have fond memories of New York, Washington D.C., Philadelphia Bell and Maryland and Toronto/Niagara Falls.

@@DoubleDeckerAnton I started in Manhattans Hudson Pier Depot in 1986 then moved over to Jackie Gleason Depot in Brooklyn in 1988 and then transfered to Staten Islands Yukon Depot from 1989 to retirement in 2018. Did mostly express runs with my seniority. One trip into Manhattan in the morning from SI deadhead back and in the afternoon after a 6 hour break deadhead back to Manhattan and come back in service with people. I don't miss the NJ turnpike traffic.

Hello Anton! Great to see you. I would say that my favourite London bus route is the 25. It's been my favourite route for as long as I've been liking buses (which is pretty much my entire life!). I was gutted back in 2018 when it stopped going to Oxford Circus in the daytime.

Hi, Anton. Did you know that Unitrans, the bus operator in Davis, California in the United States, operates authentic London double deck buses in daily service? One is a 1948 AEC IIIRT Saunders-Roe 3RT3/3, the second is a, 1952 AEC Regent III RTPark Royal 3RT8/3, third is a 1947 AECRegent III RT Weymann 3RT3/8. The fourth is a 1954 AEC RT Weymann 3RT3/8.

Occasionally im on a roll and post 3 to 4 times a week but then i can do nothing for 2 months. I'm working on the buses 5 to 6 days a week, but with combined shift patterns it can be anything up to 10 days in a row, but I enjoy my job of 21 years. I hope you are well.

Hey Anton, that Evoseti is exactly the same as the Manchester ones except the double door got removed, which got replaced to a buggy bay, and ibus was taken out. The bus stopping sign got replaced too

Looks like Anton is on strike From You Tube lol 😂 I remember when Anton went viral on You Tube, at one stage it just went completely mental, then down hill, every one knows you can’t do much on Go Ahead buses, but nothing to stop from showing other buses like Abellio, Stagecoach, Abellio have some nice buses in the 63 to Honor Qak to Kings Cross, one day Anton will go viral again on You Tube, with the meet ups, regular videos, more merch, more Greenwich park stuff -:) 😊 Anton is the best, big up for Anton

Ahhh, Electric buses... Managing buses to keep services and faults that develop with the battery management isn't fun. With multiple bus ages, battery pack size and range, juggling them all to retain service is not easy. Pasengers don't like bus changes, drivers don't like bus changes, I like to manage the least bus changes in that part of the driver's duty.
