How to replace the old uPVC Everest window center gearbox and shootbolts rods

😫Bought this setup for an old Everest casement window and it does not fit ,the part under the gearbox jams on the keeper. What they omit to tell you that the keepers have to be replaced 👿

Hi, all profiles are different it's never going to be a straight swap although 9 out of 10 times this replacement system works perfectly at replacing the old system and had great feedback. Did you contact us to help with the issue you were having/discovered as we would have been more than happy to help and supply the keeps required. Regards Steven

@@DGPSUK The new gearbox is shorter with the routing for the old gearbox being larger you can only fit one screw. What keeps do you need for the old Everest profile?

The new gearbox is shorter than the original resulting with nothing to fix one of the gearbox screws. What keeps do you need for Everest profile?

@@1946vick did you purchase the shootbolts also ??

@@1946vick there is a tab you can buy to help with the screw issue or you can use a longer screw like 45mm but not to long that it could hit the glazing.
