I’m actually so grateful god bless. I was worried what to do. I took out the frame from inside the house. Raised the window and got rid of the gap and put the frame back in place. Saved my self money and worry. Thank you

Great video, simple, direct, and informative. I've broken 2 glazed units trying to fit the beading, too aggressive with the mallet. Now, my current project should be easy peasy

Thank you, you gave me the confidence to do it myself, and now my windows look new again.

Thanks very much Shane. I could not get the new unit in, but learning from you how to clip in the top and bottom beads first solved the problem.

Having just broken a (thankfully) small double glazed window with a small small stone that got flung across my garden while strimming, I'm relieved to find its easier replacing a double glazed window than a older single glazed one and there not to difficult. Thanks.

You do. The guy doesn't show you how to heel toe a window properly. He only had to packers at the bottom because that window had no handle. Beware of that

Brilliant and thanks for explaining the purpose of the spacers since I got blue and black one's and wasn't sure if they were used for the same thing, windows come with no instructions! I don't have the tools so I'll carefully use a kitchen knife or stanley knife to prise open the beading.

I found putting the trims back really tough. I found hammering them did no good at all. I spent a good hour trying to hammer them in, instead I had to push them in using a massive force. It was satisfying to hear that plastic against plastic noise as they squashed in.
