1:08 You can hear his voice shake slightly when he says key words like “Never” and “Preform” its heartbreaking really and not to mention the ups and downs of his year from the tragic events of family and loss of money, to winning back to back 2018 splits to not being able to preform at MSI or Worlds. He has an incredible mentality and mental strength and even if you don’t respect him as a player. You have to at least respect him as a person. I have followed and cheered on this man since CLG and he continues to amaze me. Truely. Thank you doublelift for pushing through this year and I hope he moves forward from this.

This is very interesting to watching considering how things are going for TL now this split, I know a lot is going on in the world in regards to COVID-19 and it can really throw teams off from performing to their expectation but TL’s entire split has been extremely underwhelming for a team of their caliber. Hopefully they bounce back.

Watching the game from a non-biased standpoint, I would agree that TL had A LOT of hiccups during the first week. Perhaps they weren't ready to play at a higher level than NA LCS. But seeing how they played in the second week showed how much they improved as compared to the first week. It's quite unfortunate that EDG had the right guts to pull out a win against KT. Who knows, maybe they would keep their shit together and perform better next worlds if ever. P.S. I'd also like to blame pobelter for inting in most of their games lol

Not at all. Him saying my team doesn't imply ownership or whatever you're reading into his words. He can't say "the team that I am a part of" every single time. When someone says "my family" it doesn't mean the family belongs to them, they're just going home to visit "my family" rather than saying something absurd such as "going home to visit the family of which I am one individual component of."

daddio89 Well yeah, but I'm not only implying it with the sentences he makes. Since he went pro, he's always been known to trashtalk. His personality clashes with former teammates (CLG & TSM). At present, you can actually see the difference and appreciate his growth as a player and as an individual. :)

I used to not be a fan of his trashtalk, but after listening to an interview with him I really respect it. In short he said a lot of people only talk trash AFTER a win, which in his mind is like kicking someone who is already down. Trash talking prior is like placing a bet or wager on your skillset, being confident BEFORE the moment happens, and actually risking something. If you only trash talk after a win, you're not really risking anything at all are you? I really admire that, because yeah sometimes he loses and is forced to eat his own words. That shit takes guts though.

It does kinda suck that it was really close but at least it was really close. It's not like TL didn't have the skills to pull this off- they were playing way too scared week 1 and didn't show up and just take the fights that they were supposed to.
