Also you have to think about the scaling. Gp scales well but he can never walk into rell ori. Cait is worse than trist after the early game. Gragas doesn't have much play making when skarner can stop everything he can do. Gnar also causes a lot of problems existing against gnar.

6:16 skarner flash ult range is 750, higher than caitlyn auto range, if you position in a way skarner cant flash ult you you also cant hit skarner, only his presence with flash and ult up can neutrelize any squishy member of the enemy team without qss. So even if qss is 1300 gold for no damage just the fact it allows you to hit the enemy champs makes it worth it. All of this didnt even take into account skarner has phase rush, nimbus cloak and goes chemtanks and deadmans plate increasing his effective range.

@@Vin50000 First rfc only gives 1 auto attack from out of skarner range, you barely get damage done, especially since rfc gives mostly as which isnt that good when you buy it just to get in 1 auto occasionaly. Second he spoke about qss in general on all champs, non adcs cant go rfc but can qss (like azir), also even if you look only at adcs most have attack range of 550 or less, with rfc its 742.5, still less than skarner flash ult range.

Meteos know what's he's talking about when he's saying playing from behind is a mentality. 2013 C9 played from behind ALOT. They would give up first blood so often trying crazy invades or wards. There's a game they come back from 10k against Vulcan that's like almost an hour, but usually they fall a bit behind and then as soon as they hit a spike or find a fight they make a move.

It seems like QSS is really only good if you are have multiple abilities that definitely need QSS (Veigar cage, Skar ult, TF gold card, Morg/Lux snares) - abilities that you can QSS and still live cuz the follow-up damage isn't instant.... if the follow-up damage is instant (like Annie) , fuck QSS, go for surviving burst with a shieldbow and mercs

I think about this often: would NA players look/do better if they just stuck to the champs they know rather than flexing their pool to make meta comps work. If we look at Faker as an example, I believe it took him roughly 2 full years of playing Azir until he really understood how to use the champ (and his ability to use it played a huge part in his promotion to SKT's main roster). Compare that for example to Perkz on Azir. Does he have the 5k games on the champ (no)? Is that why he's making dumb plays on Azir? Idk but I'd love to see NA focus more on forming comps based on skillsets rather than meta. I honestly think it would greatly improve the quality of play in the region.
