While I agree with what ur saying about what he should be trying to guess, it's pretty obvious that the format is, "Here is my choice clip to give to you, what rank do you think I currently am?" And people will submit their older clips because that's what they think best represents them or they think is the funniest to try to guess

yo the first clip isnt emerald because it wasnt around. the healthbars still have the bounty score which was like discontinued before season 9 or something. the guy is trying to boost his rank clearly plat.

So it's funny... mechanical players still exist at low ranks. If you're that low-elo, obviously something is insanely wrong with your gameplay, but it's not always mechanics. I have a Bronze III ADC friend who's mechanically Platinum or Emerald level when he's playing at his best, but he has LITERALLY no map awareness at all, no concept of jungle timers, has no clue where to path out of base, struggles to keep his cs up out of lane, places the worst wards imaginable, has bad threat assessment in team fights, godawful mental when he's losing, etc. So him being Iron in like 5 of League's core skillsets and Platinum+ in mechanics averages him to around bronze.

I love seeing veteran poayers do things like this cause its always "how is this low elo!?" Not realizing how many resources and pros new players have ti learn from now. The skill floor of league now is SOOOOO much higher than 5 years ago. As a long time player its only gotten more difficult to do things like teach new players or maintain a consistent rank. Its feels like (imo off of where ive been placed) bronze feels closer to the silver of old and once you hit diamond its a completely different world of play SKILL FLOOR-wise
