I use this shot successfully. I like it, thank you.

Great tip and video! Just an additional comment; if you delay (or avoid) turning your head to the side you eventually are returning the shuttle to (i.e. your racket hand side), then the deception might become even more efficient.

I do it with my eyes shut and head neutral. Nobody knows where I am hitting it including myself.

It would be nice if you also show where the players should move after the shot

Thank you. It's a good shot illustrated well here. Although I'm not sure the video needed to be three and a half minutes.

Can you please make a summary video of the 8 possible returns you can do to a low serve? I can only do the push to left and right side and the lift (have trouble in replying with net shots)

Hey, does attacking the serve have any real benefit? I mean, it seems to increase the risk of the return going into the net, and it makes you vulnerable to the flick serve. I know professionals do it, but it seems safer to hang back a little and play a tight net return, so they lift and your partner can start attacking.. Or even hang back and play an attacking return to the deep corners. I guess to me, jumping forward and attacking the serve doesn't seem to have much reward really..
@BeniMano5 жыл бұрын
If you are confident in your backwards movement, then absolutely worth to be prepared to attack the short serve. This is only one option.
@BadmintonFamly5 жыл бұрын
Yes the sommer you return the serve the more attacking your return will be, that gives you an advantage. If you get to defensive then the opponent server will move up to the net making it almost impossible for you to do a netshot😉
