I almost thought it was Guyanese. Trinidad and Guyanese dialect is so similar. I really enjoyed the authenticity of this film, and I know how easy it can be to get sucked into the Bollywood/hollywood side of things. Much love to the filmmaker.

+Kristoffer Ford Was it really filmed in Trinidad? I thought I saw a couple of buildings from Georgetown. The hospital scene does not look like any hospital in Georgetown however. Really nice to see an authentic portrayal and I would love to see some more stories set in the same locale.

I think I read a short bio on the film and it stated it was shot in Trinidad.

Good effort but it's quite offensive that you would refer to our ancestors as "poor and stupid coolies" - they were certainly poor, naïve and under educated but they risked it all to give their future generations a new kind of life in a country far remote from everything they have ever known. Disrespecting that in the name of art might get you some views and a laugh or two from our ignorant masses, but it is completely uncalled for and unfortunately doesn't add any value to your storyline. Other than that, it's good work and here's hoping to see better from you.
