That was really helpful, you mean only the shaded blocks on the design paper are those that should follow the letter F or B and that also mean as a result the unshaded blocks should turn the opposite direction, right?

Yes that is correct. I found it helpful when sorting the cards to always push the forward turning pack up the warp toward the top of the loom and push the backward turning group toward me. Then I would quickly double check my chart and then turn them.

I dont understand why it is necessary to reverse the position of the forward/reverse for the second turning. You are still turning the forward cards forward and backward cards backward whether they are placed above or below their beginning position.

Each row has two turns and both will turn in the same manner. Your group of cards will be divided as indicated in the pattern/diagram for that row. You will have some that will turn forward and some that turn backwards. You will turn the cards, weave, beat and then again turn(in the same direction), weave and beat again. Now you can go to the next row and reorder the cards again for the next groups to turn. Hope that helps.
