Thanks a mil for uploading this wonderful piece of nostalgia. 20 minutes in is the famous sofa, which used to talk when there was nobody else in the studio. That was the first time that they had a sofa, following the show's move to the newly revamped and re-launched Network 2.

Thanks for posting this. Also, the 'Dustin brings Dart to Dingle' line is so hilarious-as in someone, from Dublin, once rang in to a Jackie Healy Ray featured debate regarding transport in Kerry. The lady asked 'could they not just get the DART'-Ray responded 'Madam, the only Darts we have in Kerry are the ones you throw at the board'. Wondered how the lady was so clueless-then saw this. :D

I believe it was one of the last shows that they used the original Podge puppet before he was redesigned due to its debut of Podge's brother, Rodge.

I watched that programme in the summer months of 1996 it was a very popular programme at that time. It ran for years until the late zeros.

Just round 51.51mins its like Zag pulled Podge down it dosen't look to noticeable but if yiu concentrate on it you can see it clearly but i loved watching the den when i was younger 'The Swamp' n mid 90s was fun too

+killboggins I am that specky bastard; I just found this this morning - how exciting! I'm in California now - moved here a couple of years after this show - and my collection of Zig & Zag videos were given to Ray D'Arcy for a Dustin tribute show. Ray never returned the tapes to my parents, so....you should ask him to upload them to KZbin; I would love to see them all myself!

Brian McCloskey I know! If I could I'd watch them all again every day after work. Including the ads and Boulí. Ray is probably feeling a tad dejected after the poor reviews of his show, which I admit I have not seen, so he may not be in the mood for nostalgia.
