Very interesting version - I wonder if this is how the song began when they first wrote it and then it morphed into the studio version - either way the song is a masterpiece...Psychedelic Furs have been my Favorite Band for 30 years, yet they are the ones I have never caught in concert....yet!

Robert, I saw them here in Brooklyn a couple months ago 2018 and they were AMAZING! Best show I've ever seen... better than McCartney, The WHo, Dylan, Jonestown, WIllie, etc. They were simply AMAZING so other way to say it.

yea, this is an odd version. they also only played 2 songs that would eventually be on Forever Now, guess it was an off timed show, being in between albums.

You seem to b missing the main point: 99 percent of The Furs' charisma was actually due to Richard Butler's voice + acting on stage, believe U me, I saw them several timemes in Milan, London and Berlin back in the early 80's...if they'd mixed down his voice to let you listen to the guitars it would have been a shame!!!

Too much compression in the mix, probably sounded better live and the instrumental part is a little different, pity this song is one of their best, but Richard Butler is great.

I’m more of a fan of the version that’s on Forever Now but that being said this is still a very solid version..especially that strong saxophone from original member Duncan Kilburn!

This version SUCKS in comparison to the version that would later appear on Forever Now. Glad they reworked it and took out the saxophone for the album version.

Disagree. Although I love the album version, this is the most in your face version of the song. And that's the whole point.
