The Soundman had Johnnys guitar so loud that you couldn’t hear the lead vocals very well. It sounded like a continuous lead from Johnny. It would’ve sounded better if the Soundman turned down Johnny until the bridge and lead then turn him up. But the slide on the guitar did sound really good.
