I can't believe I was lucky enough to hear them sing this live!! I've waited a very long time, almost 30 years ... but it was an absolute highlight for me!!

I remember DAAS busking in Garema Place, Canberra in the early 70’s. Soon I will be a little bucket of ash. Enjoy ever day.

DAAS redefined this song, made it greater than the great song it was, made it holy, sanctified it.... made it a different much greater thing

Oh, yes, I love H&C, but the combination of Paul’s angelic voice and the stripped back vocals make this something magical rather than great xxx

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the contrast of the old and the new. Apart from the first 30 seconds they two songs are synced. Is there anybody else that would love to hear the two audio tracks combined? I think it'd be something very special!

It’s really weird because I was listening to them again recently and had no idea they were doing anything because I don’t watch any mainstream media. This is so cool :) Paul has the voice of an angel.

Paul is a brilliant comedian but he's wasted in that role. he has one of the most amazing voices I have ever heard, the emotion he can put in a song is without par and he excels at anything from rock to spiritals.

Life is so cruel sometimes. Tim getting MS robbed him of so much, but it robbed the music world and us of what would have been so many fantastic hits. If they'd cut out the comedy parts, and Tim could bring himself to tell the others what was wrong, they could have continued for so many more years. Tim's message was fantastic, and Paul's totally rockin' the sexy Grandpa look.

Yeah, nah sorry, but the original version was by far the best. The beat, guitar and backing vocals was THE BEST. I am left frustrated and wanting with these more acoustic and laid-back versions of this iconic Aussie song. Just don’t muck with the original version that won so many over!
