I watch many pastors from within my town around the world. But none have touched my heart as this sermon has. I sometimes worry that I’m not deserving of forgiveness, though I do the very best I can. This sermon, Pastor Doug, revealed to me that yes, I am. Living for service to God, following His commandments, loving my neighbors and forgiving those who are not believers and who poke fun when the subject of God and living a life FOR God. I forgive them and try to lead by example. For, if a person looks back upon their life, it is clear that the Father has been with them and intervened somehow, throughout their lives. I love this sermon very, very much. Thank you, Pastor Doug for bringing this brightest light into my life. 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️

I'm glad you feel that way. I cant, unfortunately, feel the same way you do. I don't think God loves me. My sins are too great. It's a lot easier to be doomed than to be saved.

@@Martins913 as long as you're death isn't caused by your own hand I don't think there's any sin too great for God to forgive I think God looks at us as children and if I ever have children and that child spills milk to the child that may seem like the most atrocious thing he's ever done but to a dad it could be forgiven. That's just a small example mind you.i honestly believe That the only sin that cannot be forgiven is suicide because you cannot ask for forgiveness or change your ways after it. Yes when we sin it hurts God greatly but God is our father and as much as any dad in this world would love their child hopefully no matter what. Even the most loving earthly father to ever exist on this earth would greatly pale in comparison to our heavenly fathers love. That's why i believe he gave us freedom of choice to love him back. And I couldn't nor want to imagine how indescribably painful it would be for him if even one person chose not to. I love you man and I don't even know you I can't even fathom the love that God has for you. God bless you 🙏

Don't pretend to be my Judge, Jesus is my judge, Lord, and Savior from sin. The grace of God produces good works in our lives and God came to save us from sin. I pray everyday for Gods Holy Spirit and for His righteousness so He is working in my life to sanctify me. "I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart.” Psalm 40:8. Maybe you don't want to do Gods will because the devil wants you to be a slave to sin, but put on the full armor of God and resist the devil so that he may flee from you. God isn't done working in your life unless you have totally grieved away the Spirit or have slept in death.@user-sm3qh5xq1y

@user-sm3qh5xq1y Am I understanding your statement to say that there is no repentance of sins beyond a certain point and that the saving grace of God only covers sins to a certain point and now this person is lost? Might as well.give up now because there's no point? If that's the case, why did Jesus come to die? Probation isnt yet closed either , unless we die in sin or probation closes there is still a chance for all to be saved.

Hi Pastor Doug! Wow! Not even the full story about perfection explained yet (at least until next week probably), and already this helped to encourage me! THANK YOU!!! As a follower of Yahshua, it always troubled me, trying to understand how to be PERFECT, but until now, I’m beginning to understand. Ever since I started learning about the close of probation, my one and only prayer was, “Lord, PLEASE, bring humility by conviction, and purification by repentance”, and just the other day, a voice said to me in my heart that He WILL save as many, as possible! And if The Holy Ghost promised me that, HE WILL DO IT!!! He will cast ALL sin into the depths of the sea, I pray in Yahshua’s all powerful name, AMEN. 🙏🔥 Mom and I were just moved when we saw you were starting to break down with that desperate situation and we are thankful that God gave all the strength you needed! Rebekah…

The soul MUST be perfected to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, for anything defiled will not enter it (Rev 21:27). All those, who retained the Sanctifying Grace which was given to believers when they received the Sacrament of Baptism conferred by the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church (Mark 16:16), will be saved. But most of souls are not perfect at the time of physical death, they have to be purified through the fire of Purgatory (1 Cor 3:15). When they are completely purified and perfected, then they are admitted to Heaven. The Sanctifying Grace is the wedding garment in the parable of wedding feast (Matt 22:12), which can be lost by committing a deadly sin (1 John 5:16). Without it, one's soul is dead and thus will be cast into Hell (Matt 22:13).

@@hyeminkwun9523 Hi friend! So excited to see your reply!😃Even though I’m Jewish, I don’t mind about having you chat with me, the majority of my relatives, from both of my parents are Catholic, so I love, love, love, love, love, love, LOVE them, cause God made all people!🥰💖However, those verses you shared, differ from my version of the Bible. Based on what I learned, “It was granted her (the church) to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the RIGHTEOUS DEEDS of the saints” (Rev. 19: 8). Also, yes, we’re purified by baptism, cause Yahshua (Jesus) said “unless one is born of 💦 and 🔥, he cannot enter the kingdom of God” (John 3:5), but in Greek, "Baptizo” means "to dip", "to immerse", to "plunge underwater", and we must be old enough to CHOOSE to sin in the first place, UNDERSTAND what our sins are, and ask Him to forgive us. Even though babies are born with the selfish behavior, God doesn’t call them guilty of sin, right away, cause “the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Luke 18:16), and sin is KNOWING to do good, and not doing it (James 4:17). Lastly, I’ve studied how to be purged from sin, but my Bible says that the purging process happens NOW that we’re alive, not at death. The Bible says, the tool God uses to cleanse us from sin, is FIERY TRIALS, cause tribulation causes us to exercise faith and loyalty to Him, helping us to go and stop living in sin (Romans 5:3-4/1 Peter 1:7/1 Peter 4:1-2,12). Please tell me what you think! If you’d like to see where I learned these from, then I suggest you watch this video, paste the link below to see it!👇🏽 I studied Catholicism (as a teen, I still have lots to learn), but I respectfully disagree with it’s foundations, and believe that it’s a man-made version of Christianity. “We must obey God rather than men” (acts 5:29). Anyway, God bless you and your family! I WON’T forget you! SHALOM!!!😍🙏🌸✨ REVELATION : ( The Bride ,The Beast , & Babylon ) 2013 ___ Doug Batchelor / Full Movie

The law demands perfection, 100% of the time… Past, present and future. And the only way we can meet that requirement is through justification. When we turn our lives over to Christ and humbly confess our sinfulness, He declares us to be righteous. Then it takes a lifetime of sanctification. This means we need justification at the beginning of our journey, until the moment we die, or the Lord returns. We can’t ever go just on sanctification, because we never measure up 100%.

@user-sm3qh5xq1y Romans 8 :: because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit. "We are to live by the spirit of the law" Which is to love God with all your heart with all your soul and with all your might and the second commandment is like unto it and that is to love your neighbor as you would love yourself! Because if you love God you're not going to sin against Him, if you love your neighbor you're not going to sin against them! The spirit of the law is love🥰 God bless
@davidstarr660410 ай бұрын
@user-sm3qh5xq1y So you think the Spirit of God would lead you to break the letter of His own law? Is it wrong to worship idols? Curse God? Murder? Commit adultery? If you say Yes those things are wrong then you MUST include the 4th commandment as well. It is part of the 10 and the ONLY one that tells us who gave this law. If you say, "No, those things are not wrong to do" then you go against everything righteous, decent and moral. Your religion is one of lawlessness and Anarchy. God's grace does NOT go against His own moral law. This includes the 4th commandment as one of the 10.
@davidstarr660410 ай бұрын
@user-sm3qh5xq1y The 10 commandment law is NOT Jewish. The book of Genesis alone shows this. Not that you will regard these texts. You seem to have a habit of redefining scripture and taking texts out of context to match your Jesuit beliefs. But nevertheless these things were known even BEFORE the Jews went into Egypt: 1) "Thou shalt have no other gods before me" - Gen 35:1-4 2) "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image..." - Gen 31:19, 34 & 35 and 35:2-4 Of course, as a Catholic, you won't follow this one anyway... 3) "Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain" - Could not be broken before Moses learned God's name at the burning bush. 4) "Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy..." - Gen 2:1-4 is when it was first established. It was "made for man/mankind". The word for "man" in Hebrew is "Adam". It was also already known before the Israelites went to Mt. Sinai (Ex 16:4 & 22-30) 5) "Honor thy father and thy mother..." - Gen 9:22-25 6) ""Thou shalt not kill/murder" - Gen 4:8-11, 23-24 and 9:5-6 7) "Thou shalt not commit adultery" - Gen chapt. 20; 38:24; 39:7-9 8) "Thou shalt not steal" - Gen 30:33; 31:19, 30&32; 44:8 9) "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor" - Gen 39:7-20 10) "Thou shalt not covet..." - Had to be broken before the 7th and 8th commandments could be broken Would you like a list of all 10 of the precepts of God's moral law endorsed in the New Testament? I have those too but I doubt you will ask me for them. You probably already know these things.... In fact, if you DON'T ask for them I will know you are being deliberately deceitful.
@davidstarr660410 ай бұрын
@user-sm3qh5xq1y Mark 2:27 - "The sabbath was made for man" aka "mankind". Jesus did not say "the Sabbath was made for the just the Jews".... In the creation story the word for "man" is "Adam" in the original Hebrew. It means "the first man" and his descendants (all of mankind). Adam was created on day 6. the Sabbath (made for him) was on day 7. And yes, there is a direct command in the NT for Christians to keep the 7th day Sabbath. But, because you are not interested in where all ten of the 10 commandments are endorsed in the NT, I will just leave you to your own denominations beliefs. All I can do now is just laugh at your lies and misquotes and taking verses out of context. You will get nothing more from me than a ROFL@U. I just hope the end will be swift for you with no unnecessary suffering. But that choice is be yours to make.
@davidstarr660410 ай бұрын
@user-sm3qh5xq1y Why do you keep calling it a "Jewish Sabbath"? It was made for man/mankind, not just for the Jews. And yes, Paul gives the command to keep the 7th day Sabbath as a day of rest. I suggest you consider Heb 4:1-11 (verse by verse, word for word). Don't leave verses 4, 8 and 10 out of the context. Verse 11 takes on a WHOLE new meaning doesn't it? The word "labour" (verse 11 KJV) in the original Greek means to "endeavor with all our might/strength". As well as reminding us if we don't believe we cannot enter into this Sabbath day of rest (remember to keep verses 4, 8 and 10 in the context of 1-11). Now, would you like a list of the other 9 in the NT? Or is it only the 4th you have problems with? 'Cause the other 9 make a good moral law any ole god could have given. But the 4th is the ONLY one tells us it is our Creator that gave this moral law. Remove God out of the law at your peril...... (Edited for spelling)

@user-sm3qh5xq1y Roman Catholics call ANYONE who does follow their doctrines "heretics". If you think I am one then I praise God. It is proof to me I am on the right road.

Perfection is character perfection not bodily perfection . In spiye of our sinfulness wecan live perfectly for Him .we are sinners by name and sinners by choice The d3vil cant force us to disobey , it js always our choice to sin

Nobody can be "perfect". As long as you die in God's grace and friendship you will get to heaven However, your immortal soul has to be perfectly purified before entrance into heaven.

@@Copperhead-sz1rr It is an ongoing process in the life of a Christian to continually improve ourselves to become more and more perfect with each and every day. Increasing knowledge to learn more and more who God is, what He wants us to do, etc. When we slip and fall (which will happen many times with our flawed human natures) Jesus is there to pick us up, forgive us of our sins and we can go on again from there. No one is perfect, yet God tells us to be perfect. To BECOME perfect, a better person than we were yesterday, day before..... This is NOT salvation by works. This is obedience to God. Salvation comes from Christ. True repentance is not just saying "Oops! Sorry". Repentance means forsaking that particular sin with the intent to never do it again. The life changes, the sinner becomes a righteous person. The life of habitual disobedience becomes a life of habitual obedience. As long as we live we should ALWAYS strive to be better people than we were before. Day after day after day.

What is the greek word in its actual context ? We inherited the sinful nature of ADAM. We can ONLY live à PERFECT LIFE WHEN WE INHERIT GLORIFICATION UPON CHRIST RETURN

@@charnelallan7159 In Gen 6:9 (in the original Hebrew) the word for "perfect" is "tāmîm". It means also "without blemish", "sound, wholesome, unimpaired, innocent, having integrity", "what is complete or entirely in accord with truth and fact". Same word is used in Gen 17:1; Deut 18:13 and 32:4. There are others. In the NT (Matt 5:48 for instance) the Greek word is "teleios" - "fully grown", "mature", hence also "what is COMPLETE or entirely in accord with truth and fact" ("tāmîm"). (Edited to add): Matt 5:48 is in fact an exact literal translation from the Greek.

Simple test: 1. We will sin till death because we have sinful nature. 2. We can overcome sin like Jesus did... "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne." Revelation 3.21.

So will the 144000 still be sinning when probation closes? When the bible says He is able to keep you from falling. Is this true ? If we will be sinning till Jesus comes why hasn’t He come yet ? What’s He waiting for ? Is Satan right when he accuses God that his law can’t be kept ? These are all questions that bothered me UNTIL. .. I found pastor Dennis Priebe from amazing facts ministry ( no longer I don’t think). His sermon called ‘ perfection. What is possible for us ?’ Answered all my questions. When we have the 4 definitions of sin it is so much easier to understand....

Adventist movement is raised to fulfill the mission - 144.000 sinners who will prove that Satan accusations are wrong. Those 144.000 will be going throughout universe and will talk about ultimate misery of sin... TRUE STORY And that will be protection for another sin experiment through all eternity.
