just when i was starting to not trust any kind of church after i started reading the bible myself and notice it didn't make sense with what i was being taught at church my whole life. i lost trust in pastors, but this guy teaches straight from the bible, im glad i found a true church, it is not easy to understand the bible by yourself if you got less than a few hours a day to read it.

What a kindness from God to us all, by using human instrurments of His Holy Word, to share his word to the fallen spiritual asleep. To wake up our understanding of his saving grace and mercy to all that believe.... Praises to His Holy Spirit n word.

I think Jesus went after the cross 3 days to preach to the spirits in prison because those spirits were still in the era of the law (the law was given by Moses but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ) so the law and living by grace meet each other at the cross. As soon as Jesus died we entered into grace but the spirits in prison were still under the law not having heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Does anyone have further thoughts on this?

Erwin X - Sorry, but you have that totally wrong. We have always been under grace. Jesus is the Lord God in the OT. Jesus wrote the 10-commandments on stone tablets and spoke them with his mouth. Sin is transgression of the law (which is the laws Jesus wrote). There was no covenant made with anyone but Israel. The covenant only changed to better promises, because man cannot keep his promise and therefore breaks every covenant. The new covenant is still with Israel, but the promises are different. Man does not made the promises - only God does. He promises to provide us the power to have faith and believe, and to write his laws on our hearts and minds. Unless we are re-created with a new heart, we cannot keep God’s laws in our fallen state. We have to be born again of the water and spirit and die to SELF. God is love and love is other-centered - not self-centered. We must die daily to our will and ask God for the power to do his will. His will is perfect keeping of his law, just as Christ did. We must be sanctified just like the 7th day Sabbath was 24 hours set apart and sanctified. Keeping the 4th commandment is not only a memorial to God’s creation and of the God we actually serve, but also if he would set apart and sanctify a day - he can certainly sanctify us. If you think we are no longer under the law, you haven’t read Paul’s writing very well. You can’t cherry pick. The law is what shows us our sins. If we are no longer under the law - than you negate God’s plan of salvation. Why would Jesus have to die - if there is no more law, there is no sin. You are a fairy tale Christian with itchy ears that only wants to hear soft things. You deny the power of God and His desire and ability to change us. If you deny His law - you deny God. His law is a complete reflection of His character of love, liberty and equality. The 1st four laws are about our relationship with God - to love Him above ALL else and serve Him as He tells us to. The last six laws are about our relationship to our fellow man, and represent how we must have God’s divine love in us so we can love our fellow man as ourself. Search on YT for a sermon by Stephen Bohr on Jesus and preaching to the spirits in prison. Christ went no where but to his tomb and slept, but w/o corruption. When all of us die, we sleep in the grave until our resurrection - either the resurrection of the redeemed or of damnation. There are two and they are 1000 years apart. We cannot be subjects in God’s kingdom if we keep sinning. We not only would jeopardize the harmony and joy in Heaven, but we would be destroyed in God’s presence. God is a consuming fire and sin cannot exist in His presence. He creates all the beings he created as righteous and holy - and they know God’s laws and automatically keep them, with Lucifer being the only exception until he deceived 1/3 of God’s angel beings. Lucifer made himself into the first psychopath. His began to put himself first - even above God. He thought that since he was righteous and holy, he should also have the prerogatives of God; therefore, he wanted the worship and adoration God received for himself. He ended up breaking all of God’s commandments due to his covetousness. Grace alone does not get you into Heaven. It allows you the opportunity only. You must completely get all the grace God wants to bestow on you. He will give you His faith and His power to transform you into His image again. His image is found in His law and His likeness is a covering of light, which we must retrieve. Adam and Eve lost their righteous covering of light. They were flesh and blood - not spirit. We have no separate spirit or soul. We are a living soul made from dust of the earth and God’s breath of life that begins our respiration/metabolism.
