I am so glad to know about hell forever called second death. I went to Baptist chruch they alway talked about hell that live in hell forever that made me uncomfortable. There are a few things that we need to reason with. 1- Where is hell " lake of fire " taking place? 2- Will God allow sin "sinners" to continue? 3- Will this earth be recreated, or will God abandon this one and create another earth, or will a section of earth be designated for hell and another for the saints? The Bible is clear that the issue of sin will be dealt with once and for all; completely. Hell is a literal place (this earth) and the fire of hell is a purifying one. Rev 20: 13-15 tells us when the second death will be experienced. Then the reformation of the earth. Let us continue to search the scriptures because the testifies of the Character of God.

If they shall burn literally forever, then sinners shall not die because dying means ceasing to exist! Also after God burned the sinners, he shall recreate this world anew! If sinners burns forever, are we going to live in one half of the new world in joy and happiness while the other half is lived by sinners that are in eternal hell!! Not only don't the wicked not go to Hell immediately after death, but the Bible plainly states that neither do the righteous go to their reward in Heaven. In Hebrews chapter 11 we read: (speaking of the heroes of faith) And these all having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise, God having provided some better thing for us that they without us should not be made perfect. Hebrews 11: 39, 40.

Pastor Doug is correct. I grew up in a Non-denominational church. When I started learning about this subject as a young teenager, I became very skeptical of Christianity as a whole because I didn't know of any other branch or denomination that taught differently about this. I had a question that I could not find an answer to until I heard SDA pastors explain hell and end-time prophecy. This was my question: If all the 'bad' people burn in hell forever, then why does the Bible say that these people will also be thrown into the lake of fire that is prepared for the devil and his angels? Why would there need to be eternal hell fire AND the lake of fire? This question, from when I was maybe 10 years old, actually helped me to be led to God's true Church. A TRUE Church, that upholds only Bible-based doctrine, will NEVER espouse such FALSE teachings.

I lived through the campfire the smoke from that fire is up in our atmosphere circling around and around forever until it gets put into water and comes down but yet that smoke is still there it's just happens to be inside of water are snow and ice. Living through the campfire I know for a fact that when fire is lit and when it is unquenchable it consumes everything until there is nothing left to burn hundreds died and thousands displaced and trust me their homes were burnt with an unquenchable fire until there was nothing left to burn

Here's a truth that evangelicals should consider. God is eternal and is a consuming fire. The righteous in Christ gets to be in God's presence. They receive eternal life, shielded by Christ's righteousness. When you analyze this, you see that it is the righteous who will spend eternity in consuming fire, without being consumed. What a glorious time that would be, to be at oneness with our God.

Regarding Allen Parr’s point 3 and the verse he mentioned, Matthew 25:46. A comparable verse is Romans 6:23 KJV For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. This verse indicates the ultimate punishment for sin is death, just like you mentioned Bro Lawrence. If punishment for sin = death. Eternal punishment = eternal death. This means death for eternity, no more life. While eternal life = life for eternity, no more death.

firstly allen parr needs to use the King James Bible for a more accurate wording. While i understand wanting an easy to read Bible its best to study from the most accurate version. Also remember God is Love. A loving God would not keep people burning for ever only until they are consumed and turn to ash. Malachi 4:3 says "And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts." if they are ashes they have been fully consumed.

Matthew 25:46 It’s everlasting punishment, not everlasting punishing. The results of the punishment is everlasting. They are not coming back. In revelation the smoke of their tournament goes up forever and ever, forever and ever is translated into English from the Greek word eon to eon. An eon is a period of time but with ceasing. It’s like the ice age, it came to an end the eons are the ages. The wicked will be alive until they die the second death. They will be punished but they will not be receiving eternal punishing. The punishing were result when they’re gone and burned up into the punishment that they received. That punishment is eternal. They are not coming back.

The wicked could not burn eternal even if they wanted to, they’re not immortal. Only God is immortal and only the Saints that are redeemed from the earth receive immortality at that time. 1 Corinthians 15: 53-56 You would have to be immortal to be able to burn eternally. It doesn’t make any sense. The first thing the evangelical community needs to understand the translated word Hell. Hell wasn’t the word written in the original transcripts in Hebrew and in Greek. Hell is an old English word, mostly used to describe Greek mythology. In Hebrew the word he replaces is Sheol, which means the grave. But another way it’s translated in the Bible is from the Greek word Hades which means the grave also… Another word is the Greek word Gehenna. The Gahanna was the smoldering burning garbage dump outside of each city. Jesus referred to being thrown into the Gahanna as means to make them understand that at the end of the age the wicked will be destroyed by fire. Satan doesn’t want you to know these translated words, because he knows it brings chaos through the incorrect translation. Open your eyes understand that the Bible wasn’t written in English it was written in Hebrew and Greek originally. Understand the words are translated. People that don’t understand like Alan Parr, he doesn’t understand the translated words , he stands not on solid ground with his teachings. That’s very dangerous Allen Parr. You’re leading people to believe an untruth of your ignorance and unwilling to learn.

Satan will not be burned. He is a spirit being, and spirit beings CANNOT be harmed by a physical fire. They were also created with inherent life in them, so they can't die either. Jude says that Satan and the demons will be condemned to wandering the blackness of space forever, not being able to influence anything or anybody. They will have to live with their failure forever. That is why they are trying to make the most of the time they have left to wreck havoc.

Ezk 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. Ezk 28:19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more. Those verses are very clear about what is going to happen to satan. To get more context for these verses I would read the verses that precede these verses. Jude says that God's ppl are to "earnestly contend for the faith that once delivered". That is military language, and it's not negotiable. If Adventists believe that they are the remnant church this God's chosen church in these last days, then why should they even bother themselves with how hell fire be explicitly executed on unbelievers. There is of course a deeper meaning of this notion of hell not being eternal than you think. What lesson does this teaches than making people flexible and susceptible to sin. You see, hell is not to instill fear, but rather to make you know that to not want to go there. Many Christians do not have any problem with hell being eternal. Here's the thing, Unlike the main stream Christianity who are able to say verbatim that they are saved even now as they live, Adventists on the other hand cannot declare that they are saved. Firstly, they struggle under their notion of sinless perfection and so are uncertain of their salvation. Secondly, they have to pass the Investigative Judgement to be sure that they will be selected in accordance of the Sabbath keeping. Now, if a church is not having the gift of discernment and true biblical understanding, you get teachings like this which of course cannot be supported in scriptures. But Paul taught that, to be separated from the body is to be present with the GOD who is spirit. Adventists, you are playing with fire.

Its pretty ignorant to say that Adventists cant know if they are saved, the way salvation works is you are justified, sanctified and then glorified. Justification can happen instantly, sanctification is God working in to save you from the power of sin, and glorification will be when we are saved from the presence of sin in His heavenly Kingdom. Its not saved always saved we slip and fall and have to ask for Gods mercy and grace and God works in your life to make you holy.
