When I was younger an Angel helped me and my brother save my grandmother from falling down a cliff. We were walking, and a car passed us and caused my grandmother to slip down a cliff. Both my brother and I held her up, but we were so young and weak. My grandmother called out to the Lord, and the Angel helped us to pull her up. God and the Angel 😇 helped us and kept her from falling down the cliff. Thank God for sending that, Angel.

@@harryhatter2962 how can 2 young children lift an elderly lady who couldnt help herself and was dependant on these children to help her. I worked in a nursing home for 22 years lifting old people with one other person and both of us being young and strong could barely lift the dead weight of a person weighing 150 lb or more. How would you know angels dont exist, just because you cant see them? Im sure if you were hanging off a cliff with only 2 little hands holding onto you,you would pray for your life to God to save you. God is not visible either so i suppose you dont believe in him also. These children and the grandmother were assisted by an angel or else she would not have been saved.

I don,t see any evidence that preachers or anyone are raising people from the dead, healing people, prophesying and speaking in tongues the same way it was done in the days of the appostles. But I do not see any evidence in the bible that God has stopped performing miracles. We may not be able to prove beyond a doubt that a miracle has taken place, but one may become mighty suspicious that one has and probably has. I believe that God still offers protection when he deems appropriate to do so.

I drove home last night on a 30 + minute drive, I woke up parked in my parking lot with the car running. I have little recollection of how I got from point A to point B. I do feel that God intervened directly and/or by Angels. I was amazed! I happened to have scriptures from the Bible playing while I was driving which I do remember passages about faith that played. When I got in my house I sat down and I started to weep and thank God because I could’ve wrecked the car, injured someone else or myself, or even been dead! God is good!!!

When I was in college, I remember studying one night, had an exam the next day. I was lying down so I was prone to fall asleep. After a while I fell asleep, face down in the book. I never forgot...i started to dream that I was back home. In the dream, I was walking toward one of the rooms when someone touched in my back trying to get my attention, suddenly I woke up cause I felt a real touch in my back.. When I woke up I wasn't afraid cause I knew it was an angel waking me up to study... No aspect of our lives are unimportant to God. 🙌

When I was 6 years old, I was drowning in a lake, all of a sudden a large pair of hands, swiftly but very gently , took my to the surface. I am 57 and only recently I told my mother about it. All through my life I have felt my guardian angel's presents. I felt a large pair of hands preventing me from slipping when I was 8 months pregnant , I would definitely have miscarried my baby if I had slipped. When I was eight I jumped off a pier the bigger kids did it but by the time I jumped everybody else was gone. I remember going up and down in the water with my eyes open seeing through the water was Green every time I came back up for air I would Scream 4 help. There was a man at the edge of the pier Sun Tanning I remember his skin looking very red as if the sun was baking him. out of nowhere some kid jumps in and saves me never seen that kid again wherever you are God bless you he was much older than me. He would never remember me this happened in Lake Erie.

My youngest daughter had the chance to attend an SDA school in her 5th grade year. She did learn to read rather well. I drove her to school everyday. We were saved, 3 times, from a wreck. They were amazing miracles. One time it was so close, we screamed! I am a living witness of many miracles God has performed. I praise Him for every known miracle given 😇. I was driving back home after visiting my daughter in Tulsa, OK. We had stayed up till the wee hours, foregoing sleep to visit and just be together. I had set my car's cruise control @ 75mph, the current speed limit on the turnpike and fell asleep. When I woke up my car was completely on the median (all grass) @75 mph and heading right @ an overpass and knew I had to get my car back on the hiway or I would have a head-on in mere seconds. Upon trying to get all 4 tires back on the road @ that speed, it began to jerk violently, swerving from R to L, jerking the steering wheel completely out of my hands heading me straight@ the concrete middle of the overpass. At that point, fleeting thoughts going through my head, I knew I and my little dog (who was steeping on my lap)were going to die as there was nothing further I could do so I held him tightly and closed my eyes. The car's jerking had nearly thrown me into the other seat and suddenly it was quiet so I looked up. I no longer heard that horrible shrieking sound of the tires and was sitting up in the driver's seat. In mere milliseconds my car had completely straightened and was in the inner lane well past the overpass, my hands somehow back on the steering wheel, as if that nightmare I've just related had never happened. I was weeping quietly in overwhelming gratitude knowing my God had just had an angel save my life. I sit here writing this, tears in my eyes, thanking my Lord again for saving me and my precious little dog's lifes. He is sooo mighty and He is sooo good ! ! ! Thank you Lord.

I had an experience with what must have been an angel that had me in tears and all shook up. Many years ago I was on my way home from church. I was driving with my hand resting on the shift and I felt a hand rest over my hand and it sent chills over me and I looked at my hand and suddenly took my foot of the gas because it freaked me out so much and when i glanced back up I saw that a car had come across the road in front of me to the median. I believe that had I not took my foot off the gas at that moment I would have either hit that person or been hit. I drove on down the road and pulled over in a church parking lot to just basically breathe and have a private moment of thanks. I've had other things that have also happened that have made me aware that there is definitely a spiritual world but i don't think I will ever forget what happened to me that day. Some people think I'm crazy but I know what happened and nobody can tell me different so I believe.

An excellent sermon, spot on, apart from the fact that a 3rd is 33% very simple maths, not sure why pastor Doug doesn't know that? That's why freemasonry, which is as much a threat as the Catholic church, has it's highest degree at 33rd. Albert Pike (a grand master of masonry) said 'lucifer is our god' I pray pastor Doug is as well informed about freemasonry as the Catholic church. In all humbleness, thank you for this sermon.

Corbett when you consider billions and billions of Angels 1/3 is not 33% . 1/3 would be close to 33.33. That remaining .33 that goes on for a while after the decimal could easily epresent many millions. Consider again 33x3 =99 Leaving 1% that 1% of many billions is a lot. You cant divide angels or people into a third. The bible is correct using the measures of 1/3 and not 33% Perhaps not important when you're slicing a pie, very important when you can't slice up angels.

I spoke to an angel once. I, and a bunch of people were sheltering from the rain in front some shops, when I saw this teen boy in his school uniform coming down the row of people, stopping for a few seconds every now and then and spoke to certain individuals. When he came to me I asked what he had been doing. He said that he had been sharing the Gospel, so I asked how it was going. Pastor Doug, I've always been my own biblical theologian. A "ronin", if you will. It's to see you still doing what you were doing twenty years ago. The reason that I like you is because you never come across as insulting when you teach on a subject that I strongly disagree with you on (Gen 6, the millennium, etc.) . I often use Seventh Day Adventist (Finding Peace Within) and old Church of God literature to help teach others about the importance of the holy days, the sabbath, and lost tribes. It makes my job a lot easier. I even use SDA & COG literature for the health laws. I've been pork free for twenty six or 27 years now. But like I said, you never come across as insulting. I've known who you are since around 1999 but I really got a dose of SDA theology while I was in Iraq in 2005. Texas National Guards biggest deployment since WW2. In September or October of 2004 there was somebody there at Fort Hood giving away Amazing Facts CD's. Being ever so ronin in my theology I took the DVD and stripped all of the audio files that revealed 24 or 25 sermons by you. And being ever so mindful of Godly things (mainly because I was scared out of my mind. lol) I made sure to store them on my laptop because I thought I could use all the help that I could get. January of 2005 we were off to Iraq. We landed in Ur and slept in a tent less than a mile from the ziggurat for two weeks. By the way, God hates Ur; He must hate it because it's such an "s" hole. I was in Herbert W. Armstrongs Church of God for 14 years. I was miserable. They taught many of the same doctrines and laws the SDA church teaches. Trying to earn God's favor through legalism and "keeping the Commandments" to stay Saved was a dead end road. There are 613 commandments in the OT (www.jewfaq.org/613.htm) and NO Human EVER kept them all perfectly. I like Doug Batchor but some of his SDA theology is jacked up.

However any ceremonial and others have been ended since we no longer need those to wipe away sin. Jesus already did that. He also did away with stuff like circumcision ect. It is true that nobody can be perfect, however if you truly love God you will try your very best and when you falter you will ask forgiveness and not falter the same exact way again.

But on this particular Sermon you spoke of Genesis 6, and I believe there are some flaws in your study of Genesis 6. I was wondering if you had considered that the bible does not indicate that Seth's line was necessarily good. After all they were swept away in the flood. In the old testament "sons of God" refer to angels. It seems like there's a lot of unwritten information being added to the passage when the line of Seth somehow becomes elevated to "sons of God " I can agree to disagree with you, but I wanted to briefly defend my view. I also remember another time when I was suddenly awoken during the night and heard an inner voice urgently telling me to get up, get up and I got up and walked into the kitchen and saw sparks coming from the bottom of my refrigerator and a puddle of water on the floor. It was a crazy feeling. I unplugged it and took care of the situation but I was surprised by that inner urge. I don't understand why we are able to hear of feel that way sometimes but wonder why we weren't so lucky with other events in our lives. However, I have been able to come to certain conclusions later in life as to why such terrible events took place because of without those certain events then other things would not have come about.

Going about 50 mph when a voice told me there's 4 horses in your lane .they were about 60 ft away , no way I could have known. I slowed down on the shoulder of the road until I saw 4 horses in my lane .before I could help them one car came slammed into them , a second car from the other direction slammed into them because half of them moved into the other lane and so many other voices that saved me from . stories going over the Sierra mountains going to Reno while working. It is amazing how He could call up 12 legions of angels and what they would represent. One Roman legion was about 5-6 thousand soldiers. Let's just say that 1 angel can kill 185,000 people and this is biblical, then using 5 legions to represent 60,000 angels, they would be able to kill about 11,100,000,000 billion people. The news reports today say that there are about 7.735 billion people on earth. Back during the Roman era, there were much less people. So if Jesus wanted to cancel out His whole crucifixion scene, He could have had the whole earth destroyed, even twice, at a beckoning call, to say the least. So it's funny that Jesus allowed the disciple to carry 2 swords with them with all the power He could have called in an instant. The good angels not knowing God's program for humanity were probably just waiting for that prayer to be addressed to His Father by Jesus, but Jesus had a mission to accomplish and He couldn't allow 2 swords to interfere in His objective to go to the Cross! Peter sliced the ear of a Roman soldier and Jesus healed that soldier's ear. I thank the LORD that He did. Today I'm saved because He accomplished His mission for us! He didn't cry out, "Dad, 12 legions please!" No, He went to the Cross and I'm saved today for what He did not do with those 2 swords and those 12 Legions! THANK YOU, JESUS!

Read the text again! "For they neither marry nor are given in marriage like the ANGELS IN HEAVEN!!" The fallen angels were no longer in heaven! so this passage no longer applies to them. They left their abode and committed sexual immorality, in similar manner as Sodom and Gomorrah and gone after strange flesh, Which is written in Jude 1:7 The time frame of this sin committed by the fallen angels is referenced in 2 Peter 2:4 "For God did not spare the angels that sinned but cast them down to hell, and did not spare the ancient world with the flood but saved Noah! For God tells us that "all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth! The story is absolutely amazing and hard to believe but if you don't understand the true meaning of what the Bible is telling us you will not understand the origins of the biblical giants mentioned throughout Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy and Joshua! Jesus also tells us that his return will be like it was in the time of Noah! To me, the biggest event that happened in the time of Noah was the corruption of the human DNA. Today, we are again playing God and corrupting the DNA of not only animals in the lab, but also human DNA. We must ask Jesus to give us guidance and knowledge as we await his return!

I met a lady that was comforted by an angel. I said "How does it feel not to believed?" Her house burnt down. She said don't mind them. I shared with her because the Lord God does talk to man, and the angels do appear. What is beautiful about our Heavenly Father Lord God and Lord Son of God. Glory and honor is to them. It is not through the riches and splendor they manifest, but in lowliness and meekness by the fruit of the Spirit. It is polar opposite of the Satan that lean on glory and power to mislead by signs and wonders. What is good about marriage and the Word of God, it keeps us from physical and spiritual adultery. Angels DO seduce male and female by their base parts. As Job, they can touch and tempt and torment. The devil is called "prince of the air" because the air is an element of water. Therefore it is wise to lean on the Living Word. By the Word of God and prayer and fasting, we subdue our earthly vessels. Without Jesus, we are unstable when the devil becomes tempest. The apostles were in aw when Jesus told the sea to be still. What kind of man was He? He was the one the spoke water into existence and moved it by His Spirit. Angels are a valid point in our lives. The good and bad. They do talk, and they are seen. Jesus was tempted by the devil, Satan, in the wilderness. After He told Nathanael "‭‭And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.‭" John 1:51 The Son of God became the Son of Man. He was sinless. He had angels.. He had the Word. The Father was with Him. It did not stop Satan from his attempts to make him sin. The Lord's fence of defense was removed. The story of Job is Jesus' story. We are not to lean on angels, man, women, children, and abundance in life but trust in the Father Lord God alone. Jesus did not lean on His creation. He did not lean on angels. Angels were created to minister, especially their Lord God Jesus. When we lost Jesus, through obedience to His Word, the Father was to go to war with Satan. The Father gives us authority over them. By what was shown by Jesus, we walk with God and minister to each other as we minister to Him. ‭‭"Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.‭ ‭‭But of that day and ‭hour knoweth no man, no, ‭not‭ ‭the‭ ‭angels‭ which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.‭" Mark 13:31-32

I was driving on I-24 about 18 years ago behind a semi,, and realizing that traffic was likely to be stopped up ahead due to blasting of median available rock to use in the work rather than hauling it in, and because I hate being behind big semis, I was debating passing the semi. As I was mentally debating this and had decided not to pass because I wouldn't really gain time, a voice in my head said " Pass the truck." I thought about it a few seconds, not really yet paying attention to the "voice" just really thinking it was me changing my mind again. I had actually pulled further back into the lane. Again, "pass the truck". Again, I didn't really get it. But then the "voice " said louder and with urgency, "Pass the truck now!" I thought, "I better pass the truck." I was just about 2 or 3 car lengths ahead and in the passing lane when I heard an explosive sound. At the same time, I automatically started to break and glanced in my rearview mirror. I saw a piece of metal fly behind me and the truck veering across the highway and the "voice" said, "don't break ", It didn't take twice for me to heed the directions. Thankfully, there was no traffic on the north bound lane. I saw briefly a semi cross the median and the highway into a field. i could see this because I was in a van with a large mirror. When I got home, I looked for news of this but couldn't find any. I can only assume the drivers weren't hurt, at least not badly and because it was a rural area it didn't make the news. But here's the thing. He was hit in the rear by another semi, that I hadn't seem before I thought about passing or that was seemingly a safe distance behind me. I have to believe God's hand was in it. Another time, on my way to church with my two small children, I hit a patch of black ice just as I started down our mountain road, my car spun around at least twice and finally stopped with my bumper peering down into the valley. again, pulling out of my driveway with my 5 children with me, my van stalled in the nearest lane. I tried to start it but it would, suddenly a car rounded the curve and was not slowing down. I though "Please God", just that. Instantly my van rolled into the other lane and that lane was on a slight incline. Recently, my child suffered and injury which required that I help her for somethings. At 6 am my phone rang, I got up but felt so shaky and then after a few seconds hot inside and chilled outside. I managed to help her and told her I felt strange. When I laid down my reasoning began to consider why. Suddenly it occurred to me to check my blood sugar. It had dropped to 60. I have non-insulin early stage of diabetes. I quickly grabbed some candy as I was afraid to try the stairs to the kitchen. Everything ended well, except now I really have to be careful and take precautions. Not a good thing to have your blood sugar drop so low when you're asleep. Again, why did my child wake up when she did, it was very unusual. Can I say for sure God intervened, no. And if so, why? As the song goes "Why me Lord." I'm just a simple housewife, so many others have died who might have been much more deserving?

Not sure of the Cain theory in Gen. 6 being anything but about the fallen ones, who were also after (the flood??). There isnt any more proof in Geneses 6 to show that this verse is about descendants of Cain than bad Angels, who left their first estate. I do have to add that your view is the view of my own Pastor as well. I am always learning, changing my view(s) and asking God for wisdom. the term sons of God in the old testament is not referring to righteous humans such as Noah and Job, Moses, Daniel. Jesus was speaking about angels of Heaven - holy angels, not fallen or rebellious angels that follwoed Lucifer. Sons of God are those who are created by God, Adam, the angels - Job 38, and those who trust in Jesus Christ - John 1:12.

@75joev As to your last point. Did I say that Jesus spoke in the OT? He spoke often of the OT, referencing it a lot. It is the basis of all truth in Jesus Christ, for every prophet of God pointed to Him who was to come. I know that the NT speaks a lot of "sons of God", but I am sure you know, that it is always speaking of those who were born of God. Does the NT ever refer to angels as "sons of God"? I can not find one instance of that. Jesus says that we are equal to the angels of God in Heaven, for we are to be sons of the resurrection - Luke 20:36. Jesus told us in Matthew 22:30 and in Mark 12:25 that we who are glorified at the resurrection will neither marry or be given in marriage, but are as the angels of God.... IN HEAVEN. Jesus makes no reference to any fallen angels in those passages. The angels residing in Heaven NOW and in Jesus time, do not marry nor can they. We have no authority to lump the fallen angels into these passages of Matt and Mark. That is another matter entirely.

Had this dream in early 2020 before the pandemic I was in prison then a transform into a Lion and some dogs at the prison fired thousands of arrows through me but it did me nothing and it's like I saw an Angel with a black sheet wrap around feet and I open my mouth and angel was freed and took me up into a cloud and said we shall be watchers of these people it was a lot of people in a prison cells..also after I had dreams of a clear peaceful world wind coming close to me as i was telling a little girl about Jesus and the stars in heaven winking brightly at me as I look up to the sky..also dreams of that same peaceful world wind that appears first with mist like cloudy fogs took me up and peaceful put me somewhere better see my myself talking to a young Man about marriage from the Bible perpective...even dream with writings in the sky during 2020 that's says all shall come to know the Glory of Christ.

I am personally a oneness apostolic Christian and I would be happy to give some insight on what exactly a oneness apostolic pentecostal Christian believes and why they believe it. So an apostolic believes that the Holy Bible is the only source and authority for doctrine, and that all scripture as a whole must be taken into account as all scripture agrees with itself and is the only source that God has given us to know who He is, and what we must do and know in order to be saved- 2nd Timothy 2:15, 3:16-17, John 17:17. I'll be throwing in some scripture on these statements that way the reasoning for why is more easily understood. So, the first commandment and foundation of the Old Testament is "Hear O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord"- Deuteronomy 6:4. And the importance of knowing that commandment is pressed to God's people all the way through to verse 9 in that chapter. Here are some more Old Testament scriptures repeatedly confirming that God is one and is not a divisible or separate God, and that He will not give His glory to another- Deuteronomy 4:35, 4:39, 32:4, 1st Samuel 2:2, 1st Kings 8:60, 1st Chronicles 17:20, Psalm 86:10, Isaiah 9:6, 12:2, 25:9, 40:25, 41:4, 43:10-12, 43:15, 44:6, 45:5, 45:21-22, 46:9, Zechariah 14:9, Malachi 2:10. So as you can see, God's people we're taught that there is one God and never were they taught that there is three persons in one God, but simply one. I personally have nothing against any trinitarians, and can understand why a trinitarian would be quick to take offense and possibly lash out at what an apostolic pentecostal believes. Because it most definitely does go against trinitarian views of the Godhead, their idea of salvation, and how it is obtained. In fact I was a trinitarian when I first started reading the Bible (Obviously my views have changed) and was even baptized with the baptizer user the words "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost". So why am I now apostolic? Well let's have a look at the maintaining of the concept of there being one God, the transition to the New Testament, the coming of Christ, who He is, and some of the prophecy's He fulfilled, such as Isaiah 9:6. Matthew 10:40, Mark 12:29, (John 1:1-3, 1:14), 1:18, 8:24-27, 8:58, 10:30, 12:44-45, 12:48, 14:6-7, 14:9, (14:16, 14:18), 17:5-6, 17:24, 17:26, 20:28, Acts 3:20, 20:28, Romans 8:9-11, 1st Corinthians 8:4, 8:6, 15:47, 2nd Corinthians 4:4, 4:6, 5:19, Ephesians 4:5-6, Philippians 2:6-8, Colossians 1:15-17, 2:9, 1st Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 1:1-3, James 2:19, 1st John 1:1-2, 5:7. This first set of scriptures is about who the "First and the Last" is in the Old Testament and who He is revealed to be in the New Testament- (Isaiah 44:6, Revelation 1:17-18, 22:13) This is the prophecy about who every knee shall bow and every tongue confess to- (Isaiah 45:23, Romans 14:11, Philippians 2:10-11) So now I can cover the apostolic viewpoint on salvation and how it is obtained. We believe that repentance (turning away from the lifestyle of sin) is essential so that we can be led to our salvation - (Death) Matthew 3:2, 4:17, Mark 1:15, 6:12, Luke 13:3, 13:5, Acts 3:19, 17:30, 26:20, Revelation 3:3, 3:19. Apostolics believe that baptism is a necessary part of salvation, must be done in His name, and based on the scriptures is where the sins are washed away, and the blood of Jesus Christ is applied- (Burial) Matthew 3:14-15, Mark 16:16, John 3:5, Acts 10:47, Romans 6:3-7, Colossians 2:12, 1st Peter 3:20-21, (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38*), 2:41, 4:12, 8:12, 8:16, 10:48, 19:2-5, (22:16*), Colossians 3:17- Baptism is done in both word and deed. And we do believe that we must all be filled with the Holy Ghost also as part of salvation and that it is for everyone, and for all generations as long as we are on this earth, then of course the spiritual gifts will cease when we arent- (Resurrection) Matthew 3:11, Acts 2:38-39, Romans 8:9-11, 15:16, 1st Corinthians 6:11, 12:13, 2nd Corinthians 3:17, Galatians 3:27 Now based on scripture, the infilling of the Holy Ghost is seen and known with signs following, causing utterance, to speak, they spake, with a speaking of some sort being affiliated with the Holy Ghost. Not saying that all will speak with tongues all the time, seeing as different members of the body have different gifts, but that all will speak in another tongue initially as the sign given to all believers that they have received it. The evidence for this is overwhelming- Mark 12:36, 13:11, (16:17), Luke 1:41-42, 1:67, Acts 1:8, 1:16, (2:4), 4:8, 4:31, (10:44-46), 11:15, 13:2, (19:6), 20:23, 21:11, 28:25, 1st Corinthians 2:13, Hebrews 3:7, 2nd Peter 1:21, Jude 1:20. And believe in the essentiality of living a holy and separated lifestyle- Exodus 29:29, Leviticus 11:44-45, 19:2, 20:7, 20:26, 21:8, Numbers 15:40, Deuteronomy 7:6, 14:2, 23:14, 26:19, Ephesians 1:4, Ephesians 5:27, 1st Peter 1:15-16, 2nd Peter 3:11. So yeah, apostolic pentecostals just simply believe in what the Bible teaches.
