He will always be my favorite.

Ste only really dated Doug so he could get back at Brendan, as shown in some clips. Sure Doug loved Ste, but Ste was still hurting after Brendan, which is proved by a speech Ste made, at the end he said it was dedicated to Doug, but everyone in the room, apart from poor Doug, knew that it was for Brendan. Ste only really used Doug to make Brendan jealous, and to get over him.

@@imirrelevant513 which is sad for everyone involved, specially Doug. I really do think he was the best fit for Ste though. (if you're caught up with the show) JP was quite good for him as well, I just felt like Ste didn't put much effort into their relationship, he just didn't seem as interested as he should've been for someone who's supposedly in love.

I live in the US so Hollyoaks was actually something that I came across surfing KZbin. Did Doug die whilst under the rubble??? It's still a bit fuzzy to me as to how he died. ^^;

Doug did die because of that I think. He was trying to stay calm and not worry, all he cared about was whether ste was okay. He knew he wouldn't make it. But he still held on for ste .
