As always, what a great "Take!" Concerning Sep 11th, for most folks here in the USA, even talking about all of the anomalies are forbidden! Matt, one issue for me. Dow was 18 ounces of gold in 1929 and 18 ounces of gold in 2017, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24. No change. yet in IOUs Dow is up from $360, to $38,000 giving asset owners, free money. In honest money, no price increase in almost 100 years. In IOUs, up 100x. No nation can stand on false weights and measures for long. What do you and Doug make of this use of IOUs to replace gold, honest money. Since 1999, gold up 600%, stocks up 300%. Why is this a secret?

I have a background in Physics and research science. A friend taught me this years ago, "All major technology advances occur with a materials science revolution." That is, a new material. Electronics moved ahead when semi conductors were discovered. The circuit theory is basically the same as for tubes. Lathes and mills existed but carbon steel and alloys allowed for much more precise and powerful machines. Now we have meta-materials which are still being developed. Someday we may have loss-less transmission lines, super fast network switches and a new thin film coatings with amazing properties.

That Musk judgment seems strange. No one was disadvantaged, but the judge disallowed a commercial agreement between a company and its founder. It is hard to see where this contradicts the commercial code of the US. On immigration, political will can stop illegal immigration tomorrow if the government wanted to. They seem to have a vested interest in tearing their countries apart.

Correction, +39 million Soviet citizens died in WW2. This was the last count before Putin closed the archives in early 2000s to Western historians. Entire regions were wiped clean of boys, men and the old by the NKVD. Girls would fight each other quite openly for one of the few boys that showed up to a village dance nights. Pretty wild postwar as well during the war.

Hey Doug and Matt, Question i have to ask, in actual distance from each other the World Trade Center Building from Building 7 ? Is it not at least a good city block or not more away or better said was? Why I ask is hard to believe but on Aug 11 one month before the big event i was in New York city as a tourist (it was a warm day as I remember) anyways that early morning i left my manattan hotel and wanted to walk starting at the two buildings and just walk all the way up to the big park. I just watched the people going into that morning at one of those two buildings. But i can not remember this building number 7 being close to either of these two buildings? So question to people out there How far in feet were these buildings apart? I am sure you guys out there can read between the lines in why I ask this question? Does anyone know the answer to this question ?

Musk is likely to appeal, experts said. Before that can happen, the judge will have to finalize the ruling and decide on compensation for the lawyers who represented Tornetta on a contingency basis. The plaintiff's legal team has said in court documents that the board could adopt a new plan to pay Musk for his work for the last five years, saying that this plan would have to be reasonable.

Unemployment benefits in EU are definitely different. In south Europe countries have been too social and they are bankrupt. They cant sustain the level of illegal immigration. In Estonia average salary is 16-1700 net. Our country gets the immigrants who like peaceful environment a bit more. 15-1600 is average pension in Germany. Also immigrants get far greater benefits in western Europe. Afterall, they are more social!
