This was the last era of true Hockey as today's Hockey is nothing even close to this! I was 9 years old when Dougie was Captain and Leafs had the cup that year (Damn Gretzky..) Today's Leafs well no comment. Long Live Dougie, Clark and the 92 93 Leafs Team! Best Team EVER!!!

2 of the most exciting captains the maple leafs ever had! An era of greats who took their careers seriously and gave everything they had! Grew up watching both these men bust it every game they played! Love em both Loved watching them!

Lord Stanley should have been won in the 90s by these two great players had it not been for one Wayne Gretzky with a cheap shot he got away with by the NHL officials because he was the Great One! These 2 guys bled the white and blue in the 90s.

I grew up watching Sittler, McDonald etc, but I never felt as much excitement then those couple of years with Dougie and the boys. I still wonder what would have happened if it weren't for Fraser.

I did as well, and I agree completely. No cup, but they were great. There are so many great Leafs and it is a shame they are not carved in the Cup. I was a tennis net judge in a match between Sittler, and Dan Maloney when I was 13 (my brush with fame).

Even as a habs fan, I have to admit that those two were a lot of fun to watch... just awesome.

Two of the greatest to don the Leafs jersey, and to have been able to watch them together was an honour. Those were some exciting years. Been a fan a long time, and the Pat Burns and Pat Quinn eras were by far the most exciting to watch.

They would have been great in Boston. They would have been perfect for the no BS culture surrounding the Bruins. The fans would have loved them. I'm just thankful that I got see them play for the my Leafs.
