Doug Gilmour's CHL points streak record is safe

You are exactly right Mike. I thought that the other day when he got the empty net goal and it was mentioned about his streak still going. I never knew of anyone that carried over point streaks from one season to the next and would be hard to be close to Gilmour's streak when it is only 20 or so games into the season. The only streaks I have ever seen carried over from season to season is games played.

Another Leaf record that will probably never be broken is Darryl Sittler's 6 goals and 4 assists, Feb 7, 1976 vs Boston. Even the Great 99 didn't beat that one.
