Speaking of a soft league, back in the 80s, I had three Brantford Alexander players , who were in the penalty box in the Soo, climb over the railing and over top of me and my buddy, to get some heckling fans three rows up. They were thrown out of the game and not suspended. My buddy and I were ejected from the building.

For snubs, why aren't Canadian players from US colleges on the team? Maybe it's because of Hockey Canada's alliance with the CHL. We don't always out the best team out there just like we don't always select the best coach.

Jim Waters is gonna be very missed he was very nice gentleman, he's a huge reason why theres still Otters hockey in the flagship city when they were almost relocated in 2015 and He was very loved by Erie community, I've seen him around at the games many times every time I saw him I would always say "Hey how's it going Jim", one of the only times I've gotten to have a conversation with Jim was few years ago when I thanked him for everything he's done with the otters and what he's done for Erie entirely. Im still in shock about his passing, Saturday game was very emotional night so glad they came out with the victory in dominate fashion. Going forward the Otters are playing for Jim. The last few years the Erie Otters have down throwbacks nights to the Erie Blades/Golden Blades ( 1978-82, between four different leagues and fun fact they are the current Springfield Thunderbirds AHL ) they have their championship banners in rafters of the EIA. They recently last season did a throwback night to the Erie Panthers ECHL ( 1988-96 ) and on Dec 28th they are celebrating 60yrs of hockey in Erie , all of theses teams were before my time since I'm currently 25 years old lol...... I've been a Season Ticket holder for the Erie Otters for long time now I've been going since I've been a kid alot of Otters fans I've gotten to know over the years and I've become friends with who went to or were season ticket holders for the Blades, Golden Blades and the Panthers have said they love when they Otters do throwback night and everytime Otters have sold jersey and other merchandise have sold out during a pre-sale or the night of throwback night.

North Bay Battalion Have honored the North Bay centennials, In the first year by wearing the centennials Logo. As a shoulder patch. As well as in the first two seasons they had centennial night. Where they wore old school centennial jerseys. And the battalion third Jersey is in centennials colors. With a tank on it.

Saginaw has had a Gears night in the past but it’s been a few seasons since they have done it.

I like the idea of allowing a 4th OA if it’s a goaltender.

Here is a real good one. It wasn't about a goal or an offside. It happened this past Sunday, North Bay Ottawa. 7 or 8 minute review. With 1.8 seconds on the board at the end of the first period, the refs made the players stay on the ice the whole time. Why not add that time to the second period? Fans were so pissed off. Context, here it was about a major penalty and a brawl. In the and no major penalty, just a complete waste of time. Couple of miners.

The one and only reason that I use the self checkout at the "Independent" in Frederick mall is because they only ever have one traditional grocery lane open. Gooooo Rangers!

Two minutes is very generous. Perfectly fine with a time limit to keep things moving. I don’t pay 20-something bucks to watch zebras trying to figure out an iPad. Much tweaking still to come as there is with multiple aspects of the OHL. Winds of change.

I totally agree there needs to be a timer on video reviews. It is killing you?? OMG I think I have died a thousand deaths waiting for them to decide if it is yes or no. I think the teddy bear cleanup is faster than some of the video review. Come on guys lets make up my mind so I can enjoy the game. I don't wake up early on game days to watch officials hovering over a screen trying to figure things out I get up to watch hockey.

Some interesting points on guys not getting invited to the World Juniors. I can see some of the reasons but like you say hope they have scoring when they need it. I have heard that Cowen is invited but not playing as a precautionary thing, but did he not just sit out for London as a precaution and then play again? I am not sure I understand why you invite a player that in not going to play. On a side note I don't feel bad for London having players away for the World Juniors. I don't have time for that LOL. I have 2 favorite teams. Kitchener Rangers and anyone that can beat the Knights.

misa is going nowhere. nor are spirit trading misa. why go to bu getting 4th line minutes when you can go top 3 nhl draft and get elc? just ncaa trying to get their grubby hands on every canadian jr now that means nothing. they dream of nhl, not ncaa. or misa is pining for a trade to pre-season contender steelheads to play with his brother like mcleods did..

Micheal Misa going to the NCAA when he almost certainly will be offered his pro-debut by whoever drafts him is interesting. It's not unheard of for a player to stay in college for one more year, instead of playing just a few NHL games and then being unable to return to school, but as a CHL player Misa gets to make his debut and try to earn a place in the lineup while still being able to be sent down if he's not quite ready.

Kalamazoo already has Western Michigan in the NCAA and the K-Wings in the ECHL. Not sure they could support an OHL team in addition to the 2 teams that are already there.

FYI, the policy for the tablet in Erie is that between the Video Goal Judge and the Clock Operator, they must check the tablet an hour prior to puck drop to ensure that it is working and that it is fully charged. Also, they must check and make sure that the headset is working as well.
