Unfortunately it’s not that simple. I’m hindsight you could say the foundation of the eagles championship team was chips. Kelly is far from a moron. He’s actually pretty brilliant as a football mind. His offensive style is tough to get professional on board with. But he knows football players and can evaluate talent. Howie had years to put a good team on the field and was below average as a gm in the drafting area. Since the super bowl he’s been well below average. Doug I think is a love him hate him type of coach. When he’s winning you’ll never want anyone else, he’s passionate, a good guy, players love him, an excellent motivator, and he calls plays like you would probably call plays from your couch. But he also will make you want to pull your hair out when they’re losing bc .. again. He calls plays like you and I would from the couch(going for it in spots that doesnt make a lot of sense, 80/20% split pass/run, clock management as bad as any coach out there)

@@jebadiahfyefye8994 that is incorrect. Chip Kelly only ran two drafts while he was in Philly and only two players that Kelly was responsible for drafting played in the SB. Nelson Agholar and Beau Allen and one other player who was a contributor but lost him during the season and that is Jordan Hicks. So his evaluations were not good. Howie built a very good team thru the years by drafting ( although there were a handful of bombs) and free agency.

@100anti6 жыл бұрын
Yes both is at mix, however, when the mindset is there and His will, amazing things happen!
@AAron_Pendragon4 жыл бұрын
Willie Daniels I have to beg to differ good sir. It’s not so much about religion but about the existence of God. Whether you choose to believe or not, a higher power does indeed exist and both you and I will answer to said power when everything in this life is all said and done. Also; to your main point, not everything is about religion. There are people who engage in it and there are people who don’t. The way society operates in this modern age it typically leans towards the more secular side of things. Men like Tim Tebow and Nick Foles are exceptions to that general rule and so when they profess their belief it draws a lot of attention simply due to the fact that it’s becoming a rarer and rarer phenomenon. We were created in God’s image and as such, each of us are given unique gifts or “talents” as you stated. Most believe it is brought about via their own making but at the end of the day they fail to recognize that all the glory belongs to God. Sorry if this sounds like preaching but believe me when I say it comes from a place of thoughtfulness and humility as I am flawed just as much as you and perhaps more-so in some cases. The Superbowl win is merely a testament to God using Foles (and others likened to him) for the furtherance of His glory. At one point in the video Nick states that he had considered giving up the sport but he chose to wait on the Lord, hang in there, and sure enough, he was rewarded 100 fold. There is a lot more going on in this world than we mere humans can even begin to comprehend. We make the mistake of thinking we are the masters of our own destinies but I can assure you there is One who would state otherwise. I hope you embrace this message in the spirit in which it was intended. Thank you and God bless!

I remember when Doug Pederson was hired and I was thinking, "Oh great, we have Andy Reid 2.0." The truth is, he did struggle last year as a play caller, but he has grown immensely as a play caller this year and the fact that he was wise enough and not stubborn to make changes to his offense for Foles, clearly shows that he is no Andy Reid 2.0. He is and Forever will be known as DOUGIE FRESH! So proud of you Doug, and thank you so much!
Colonel Attar Not true, A new Qb was thrown into the flame's, with everyone not being on the right page, you can't blame it on the play calling, unless he keeps calling same play's, that other team's already know about it.

Just look at three of the four best teams in the NFC during the year, other than the Saints. They were all led by QBs that Jeff Fisher threatened to torpedo, Nick Foles after the injury to Carson Wentz, Case Keenum, and Jared Goff. All of them QB'd the Rams the last three seasons Fisher was their coach, and they were all pitiful with the Rams. Once they all got away from Fisher, we saw what happened. But it should be no surprise. Fisher is a disciple of Buddy Ryan, whose coaching philosophy regarding QBs was that their job wasn't to win the game, but rather that their job was not to lose the game.
