I guessed "duality" for purple too, Doug.

I would give you credit for the purple. They are dichotomies. 😊

I got the first three with no errors in the same order as Doug, and also could only come up with opposites for Purple. I'm going to guess that very few people would correctly articulate Purple.

Perfect today. The purple group was really deep than others today.

3 points. I waited to solve boat because I thought it might be a red herring. I didn't get stumped on green using score. Green, blue, yellow. Like Doug, thought purple might be part of a duality.

I actually got the purple but thought, "there is no way that the answer is "Yang principle in Chinese Yiching"" but nothing else came to mind. I was surprised to see I was right.

That's what I thought it was too for the purple. Boy was I surprised to see the answer. lol

I would probably give half or at least a quarter point for the purple because the dual nature of those concepts is an essential aspect of that particular philosophy. That they happen to be the same “side” of that duality is the other part of that category but I think noticing the duality counts for something at least.

i could've guessed on the purple for years and I wouldn't have come up with that category but I was able to get the other ones right.

I was hesitant to choose anchor as it is not integral to the boat. So, I played the yellow category first.

Duality is about all I had too. I got the rest just fine, but purple was just unguessable.

Well done on your perfect solve. Purple could have been gotten with some common sense though. We've all heard of Yin and Yang. Many of us know that is part of Chinese Philosophy and many of us have seen the black and white interlocking tear drop symbol used for Yin and Yang. It's reasonable to conclude that the Yin and Yang is a philosophy of opposites (the push and the pull for example) and each of those three other words has a marked opposite. *Disclaimer*. No, I did not correctly describe purple either, my default solve.

@@badandy8504 I just read elsewhere that these are specifically represented by the white part of the yin yang symbol so I stand corrected.

BLUE (PARTS OF A BOAT) - YELLOW (GET) - GREEN (EXTENSIVE NUMBER) - PURPLE (ONE END OF A SPECTRUM)
