I was able to get all the categories with no mistakes, but could not name the purple category. I was fine getting 3 points. HAPPY THANKSGIVING, everyone, and these are the food items being a MUST for me with this festive day: 1) TURKEY 2) STUFFING 3) PUMPKIN PIE. 😊

GREEN (PERSON COMMITTING FRAUD) - BLUE (EAT EXTREMELY FAST) - YELLOW (SHOW GRATITUDE TO / FOR) - PURPLE ( __ TUESDAY) I got extremely lucky with purple. "Taco Tuesday" and "Fat Tuesday" were easy. I knew "Super Tuesday" have something to do with either American sports or politics. Since "giving" was the only word left, I gambled on "Giving Tuesday" being yet another thing I've learned about today.

Well I almost got purple thinking they were part of a phrase involving a day of the week. Well I knew Taco Tuesday but I was thinking Super Saturday?...Fat Friday? ..didn't think they were all Tuesdays. Haven't heard of the other three before.

Nice solve and Happy Thanksgiving to you. Fitting that we have FAT Tuesday when not long ago we had Ash WEDNESDAY. GIVING Tuesday is the Tuesday following Thanksgiving as the third option to open our wallets: Black Friday : in Store Shopping rush. So called because it traditionally puts stores in the black for the year. I never participate by the way Cyber Monday : On line version of shopping / buying gifts. Giving Tuesday : Where we are encouraged to donate to charities. Of these three, this is the newest phrase coined.

Shrove (or Pancake) Tuesday would've been a better choice than Giving Tuesday, whatever that is. But I guess they needed it for the red herring.

Giving Tuesday comes after Cyber Monday, it’s a day that encourages people to do good and think of those less fortunate.

Shrove Tuesday IS Fat Tuesday, so they couldn't have included both. They're the same day, so named because people indulge in certain foods right before giving them up for lent, which begins the next day (Ash Wednesday). Of course, Fat Tuesday is better know by its Italian translation: Mardi Gras.

@@nathanhagberg9458 Oh. Well that's okay then. Wikipedia did not reveal that to me, it must be buried deep in what is a very long article.
