Playing for a draw is like the A5 move, and the Castle move. I would have gone RxR doubling the pawns rather than the A5 move, yet I can see the idea of A5. This is a good result for both of them!

It is not boring, I think, it is just part of the strategic approach to the match. On the one had, maybe Gukesh now gets on the board and gets a chance to get his nerves under control, on the other hand, Ding's advantage grows with every game that passes, as it leaves fewer games for Gukesh to catch up.
