I LOVE watching Doug's reaction...it's like a positive version of Phil Helmuth when he finds out somebody bluffed him. On the other hand, I feel for Doug as we've all been here against maniacs when we logically are beat against normal players, but there's no telling with players like Tesla. Also, Doug has probably lost too much money to this guy to call him anymore as the variance is way too high.

To be fair he could have showed either card and probably leads to a fold. If he shows the Q, the only Q - x hands that he beats is Q4 & Q2. That's one of those perfect scenarios that you can let the opponent pick either card to see, and it likely will lead to the same result.

I agree he's not good but he has a lot of money and he's willing to make huge bets. That makes him trickier than a rando fish. I would clean him out in a 2/5 game but I would be petrified to sit deep with him in a 25/50 game.

@@pridemyselfwithnontrolling5230 I could see him sort of fitting the whale tag, but most whales are very passive. They play like Old Man Coffee but at nosebleed levels. This guy is actually tricky to play against, even though he's got a lot of leaks, because he's willing to make big, big moves.

@@terracottapie Yes it was “strong” because Doug is stupid. There is 4 diamonds on the board, so for Tesla to have both cards a diamond is way against the odds, especially since Doug has the 9. Doug should of flipped his 9, and started laughing. You flip a 2♦︎, with 4 diamonds on the board and I got the 9♦︎, I’m snap calling . Doug just got out “pokered” with a super bad move by Tesla. But good for Tesla, it was funny.

@@cndvd It's a lot less against the odds because of his range. After that line, he only gets there with made flushes on the turn, three barrel bluffs with flopped sets, and total air from barreling with stupid bullshit. So the internal argument Doug is having with himself, though he won't say this out loud, is whether this guy is fucking stupid enough to actually play something like 2 4 or 2 9 and then rip it in on the river. And it's close but he makes a wrong fold. You have characterized this hand completely wrong from start to finish
