I'm not sure if he was more than a two to one favourite, at least from the players point of view. It says Doug has 34% equity, but that might be after taking into account the folded cards of the other players. Because otherwise, Doug has 11 outs /forty something cards, which isn't 34%.

I’m a little jealous because you cannot imagine what poker was like in Austin, for decades.. Smh.. Houston had tons of action, the games were tough, but you could do real damage.. Before they run it out, if somebody shoves all-in, they typically ask if you want to run it once, or twice for a possible different outcome. If you win one board, but lose the second, you both chop the pot. Essentially it's a mercy offering.

@@michaelsperber3644 are you not counting the burn cards as removed? there's 8 players right? 8x2 = 16, 1 burn pre flop, 3 on flop, 1 burn pre turn, 1 on turn = 22 used so 30 left, am i wrong? i think it would be 11/30 * 10/29 = 12.6% approximately (not a huge difference i know and maybe i'm wrong, that's how i'd calculate it though)
