Today has been horrible, I came home with the mindset of not drinking but then that regular loneliness kicked in before I took my shower. My mind was going back and forth about how to deal with it and the desire to drink was incredibly strong. It's now almost 10p and the liquor store closes at 11p. I'm so thankfull for these videos. Day 1 for me.

Hey that's a great job my friend ,I most say that I was just like you ,I did everything mostly meth and vodka ,then mostly meth and opioids I was homeless, hopeless and hated myself, and would go to detox so many times a don't even remember and would go to rehab like 4or5 times only completed one 30 day program, ,only to get out an go right back to the same crap and finally one day a year an a half ago now ,I gave up and set my mind to getting sober an clean at 43 years old. I'm working a strong AA program got a sponsor and now chairing meetings 3 times a week and sponsoring others ,,and other service work in the program ,,,,if I can get clean anybody can ,,key things is being ready to change and really want it,,and no once you get clean work them program to stay clean and that's wear you get stronger

It also depends on the meeting. DOCs for my sponsor and grand-sponspr are heroin for the first, and cocaine for the second. They chose to commit to AA, bc if they drink it always leads them back to the DOCs. Mickey Bush is another great speaker for those with multiple substance uses.

tango0032. Thank you and I'm at 18 days and counting. It's nice to know, someone I don't even know cares enough to encourage me to continue on this journey... for that I'm truly grateful.
