My 78 sat outside for 6-7 years (engine swap and the guy got too old to keep going( plates are from 2014) I got it and finished it and got it running (current condition), its amazing the way Dougs started within 30 secs of cranking, you can really feel the emotional ties that he has to the truck, and the excitement of seeing/hearing his baby again

Used to watch all those KZbin vids where guys go and try to get old abandoned cars out in dirt fields for 30 years running again. I’m always surprised how little some of these classic American made vehicles needed to get started again even after sitting out in the weather for 20+ years. I knew the truck would start easy as it looked like the barn kept it nice.

With 18* aluminum brodex heads. She’s a screamer for sure those are memories I cherish with my dad big time.
